I wouldn't call that a spike at all. It is a low volume trading time of the day so any volume greater than previous and following bars will appear to be a lot. But not when compared with London and New York regular trading hours.

yup, know all about that.. this was a major spill when the concrete pad under the million gallon crude storage tank in the background cracked up at prudhoe bay and soaked the gravel underneath.. big mess.

that's my wife and i on the cleanup crew getting ready for a 12 hr nightshift... from another life. we were "hotties" and this is the proof.

by the end of shift we were both completely black from crude. it was a'rd 0 to 15 F outside that fall, stuck in Class C tyvek and respirators for 2 weeks every day. yuck. BIG $$ tho.

Scalping with a SL even more.
I use a mental SL that I execute manually on 1M TF.
I lost more money in SL hunting than in bad trades.
Why setting up a SL when you are in front of your monitor.
If there is a really hard spike it will come back soon.

tomorrow morning.. I've been trying to figure out the impact on the euro because in the past these cuts would send the e/u down but in this environment its hard to say if the cuts are builtin now.

Couldn't agree more. I never use a physical S L - only mental one.
Mostly scalp and out of the last 120 + trades I had only one negative
one for -9 - got out only because I didn't like what I saw. From those
120 + trades, I am a positive 2,500 + pips
Works for me, but may not work for all.

And yes...i started with 250 dollars last month my last attempt at conquest of forex...now im up to 1100...all 25 cent pips and 50cent pips...a few 1dollar in there...the market has not been easy to play...before month ends...possibly 3000...then next month...6000 or higher..and so on...no over leverage here...whoo i must be drunk or id be embarrased sharing this pathetic mini account of mine

im so drunk ill even share my current positions. -70$ dollar open positions on gbp/jpy...each 25cents...whoo i must be brilliant for i see a massive move up...so what happens if it goes down to my stop loss of 134...hmmm......had these positions for a while now...

i think mine is simpler... zoomed out on my daily, I see a bear flag with about a 2400 pip pole. been seeing it for awhile now. should be about due to break and take us down to "parody".
