The thing I love about this thread (apart from it being a great strategy) is how friendly and helpful everyone is with each other - its a real pleasure to see.

No doubt I'll be asking for help alot (and the q's will probably get annoying) but I thank you guys in advance for your patience and willingness to help.

This is a trade I have been watching for a while now, which I did not get in. Didnt get in last week because I have met my weekly target and wanted to discipline myself on the trades I take. Also, planned to enter this week if there was a daily confirmation candle but it didnt materialize. Nevertheless, I really believe this trade has alot of potential to run and will be looking for possible entries if price breaks the up TL on the 4h and retest.

Always remember to trade only when you see the conditions are right.

In my view it is a possible gartley pattern, with a bearish engulfing at the daily trendline. Nice fibo retracement at 61.8 on the daily.

Took entry off 15min after a good retracement as the market takes a breather. Have closed 50% at 1:1.5, going to let this trade run now at SL@BE.

Thanks alot mike.

But my trade got stopped out at BE eventhough it is still running south.

Thats the disadvantage of entering a trade after it has already started moving, and entering a trade using a smaller timeframe. The SL is just too small to allow the price to breathe.

Not too affected about it though, there will be more setups coming again. They just keep coming. =)

A few hours into the new trading week and I must say the markets been great so far. I'm yet to enter a new trade but the trades carry over the weekend now making major gains. I hope yall held a few over the weekend. Posted below are a few on the entries I carry.
euraud went for over 200pips then retrace and hit SL. GU and GJ consolidate for the most part last week now they break out of the range to the downside for major gains. All the entries are similar, markets at TL, candle formation, past S now R and fibs.

Hi,

This is a trade i took this morning, on the red arrow. Though it's not making any of 6 Cf, but i think the double top there will make a good resistance combined with the trend line and 78.6 fibo. Actually i woke up late, and so i enter after bearish engulfing bar. I didnt think that GU will make that big move south, so i only take 1:1 RR. But hey, after some hours, it hit the TP for a clean 105 pips (i dunno, i set my TP @ exactly 100 pips on MV, but the price closed for 105 pips). If i had a chance to release the TP, it was moving south again for 200+ pips. Who knows...

Anyway, we may need to keep looking at AU and EC since they keep making a new lower low, maybe we can enter at the retracement, if all the conditions are met.

Eurchf is a nice short, take a look at the weekly and you will see that its resisting or has resist the past support line, also it is now retesting the TL it previously breaks. (The white TL is from the daily) My entry is from the daily last week.

This was taken a while earlier. Good run so far, got my 1:1.5, gonna let it run for a free trade now.

It has been a good start to the week. Market is moving strongly.

please have a look at my chart, do i have the right idea? Its early days yet in terms of where price is currently and the amount it has to retrace, but just wanted to see if I'm thinking along the right lines.

Is the TL and swing hi/lo's correctly chosen? Would I be correct in assuming that if price was to now retrace to the trendline, that would be a nice fibo 61.8 retracement and with a nice bearish reversal candle would signal a could sell opportunity?

all feedback greatly appreciated.

wow! Nice chat, simple, this is exactly wot dra wants to see, clear chart.
TL OK, u are keeping flow of present AB boundary and anticipating for possible C.

I am also monitory that pair as u do and the following gives confluence for possible short trade

1. Possible support turning into resistance
2. 50/61.8 fib convergence
3. Global trend is down

Yes, that looks good. I draw mine very much the same way, but my trendlines are a little longer out than yours, but still valid, if you get a test of the line.

Yup, don't forget the outer lines and those lines that have been broken too. Just wait for all the conditions to be set up nicely now. Also take note that the market doesnt turn out the way we like it all the time. The outcome is always random so only take the trade when you see it.

I have the same anticipation with you..Just one thing, my chart doesnt show me any good CF..Do you think after the big up move yesterday the pair will be going down again soya?It's very slow now, though it continually makes lower low on 1H bar.. Maybe a good trade..

And, hi Iffy..welcome to the brotherhood..I have the same chart like you, but like soyabean said, dont be too hoping that the market will move like what you are expecting..It could be continuing the down move even without touching our line again..And when it happens, just let the trade go, and prepare for another setups that will surely come to us..
