What time does the Eur/USD closes on Friday please?
Some software has close for Eur/USD at 17 pm NY time. For example Genesis and MetaTrader 4.
But is some online chartsfor example dailyFX.com there is close for EUR/USD 16pm NY time on Friday.
So I have in MetaTrader and Genesis one extra hour.

yeah , and this isn't real work either... just got home, and nothing has changed, except i think eu has come off it's meds or something. what a discombobulated mess.
I'm leaving again. They have Pecan Sandies on sale both with and w/o choco chips at the local store I just found out. Stocking up on late night munchies as it sounds like turvo is planning a
... Quickie note I just remembered from this morning... options expire tomorrow.
This is NOT my area of strength by any stretch... I'd be interested in any commentary from anyone that feels confident in what they know about this relative to currency markets, directly or indirectly, or links to the same.
Most of the little I know is second hand and inferred from various sources, or backtracking to the days in question and pondering the PA (not very conclusive). At this point, if I'm getting it even half right, it seems a little hit or miss, and the market COULD/MIGHT be "uppish" tomorrow giving us a possible correlation on some of the DOW connected pairs... just a thing to know at this point.

if the stock market does not rally in this last hour of trading....i will have officially lost faith in the american economy...this statement comes from one of the most optimistic guys aware of the current global situation...this has nothing to do with my long bias...it has to do with the fact there are no options out there left and the great depression will look like a joke compared to what we are facing....as would be proven with a close below 8000 for a second straight day....

from a technical point of view...ignoring yesterdays false spike up...the daily candlesticks are caught in a descending triangle....which direction it will break is beyond me at this point but the wall values are quite relevant right now...1.2400 to break to the downside...1.2650 or so to break to the upside..until a break occurs anyones guess about market direction is as logical as my illogical one...good pippin all and play safe as we are in a transition period. either from bad to worst or bad to slightly improving

There has been a buzz all day about the level 777 on the S&P 500 as a critical level. Ironically, that was the figure for the low in 1980 for the Dow that it recovered from in the last long-term bear market.

Absinthe, eh? You ever drink that stuff? I mean the real stuff. Very interesting. Gave me the biggest headache I've ever had in my life. And I'm a Slavic type - LOL! That stuff runs in my veins, heheh...
By the by there are gonna be a lot of very depressed people tonight if Mr. DOW doesn't get his ass above 7882 by the close. That's a magic line in the sand for many Wall Street Phubahs...
