I'm looking at a potential short. All indicators told me to go except for the crossing emas. Now i'm sitting here waiting to see if they cross to enter the trade. My question:

Do I enter as soon as it shows a good cross

or

Do i have to wait till that candle closes. I've been waiting for the candle to close to enter and seemed when i did this we were in over sold territory on one of the stochs.

Hi, entries are triggered on close prices only...a lot can happen in the dying seconds of a candle/bar, where a potential signal vanishes ...can be frustrating, but it's never too long until the next signal using the 5min.

Hope everyone is having a good day. I've been sleeping from last nights session, made a lot of pips last night...lost count but it was +36 or so.

Anyway... I drew up some trend lines last night that appear to be holding strong today. I adjusted em. May see some good moves towards the end of the session today.

Hey Eddie, nice trading! The Force has been great at picking out the turning points in both directions today, within a relatively narrower range than of late. Like you say, this could bode well for later in the session, or perhaps we'll see more of the same...100 up, 100 down, 50 up....etc.

I'll probably have an extended day here, to see what comes up, just in case another monster move materialises.

Price close to support dating back to last month. Should be interesting to see what happens.....hopefully bounce off it.

Yea..I kept waiting for the bounce this afternoon and it just kept dropping...then retraced back up. I haven't looked at a chart tonight. Check my trade journal...I was ready to go...good thing I didn't haha.

I don't think it quite hit the support for over the last month, it kinda bounced of the support TL set in the last fortnight......I think.
