great call, just checked it myself....in english it is "move stoploss to breakeven or BE" if its the same as entry otherwise they just say that stoploss is +10 pips or +20 pips or whatever

Just moved stop loss once again to 1.2595. And here is the current situation.

I have just closed a position manually at 1.2651. Why? I checked evolution more closely for volumes for previous day. Previously I took only first entrie - 1.2690 and did not pay attention to all others, but there are stong area of resistance at 1.2660 - 1.2665 .

I am attaching program screenshot for 2008.11.14 .
And 5min chart to show how everything were flowing.

The result is +109 pips.

Current situation on EUR/USD . Just sold it from 1.2616 . On the screen - light cyan lines are maximum volumes for this trading week (actually - two days: 17 and 18 November). This is new method, but looks to be good - take a look how the move reverted 3 hours ago. 5 min chart.

Will see how it goes.

Is the volume feed that you get reliable? Have you checked the feeds? How do you calculate volume in FX? If Citi sell 10m USD to DB and DB sell 10M USD to UBS and UBS sell 10m USD to you, where is the volume in that? 10M or 30M?

Just check a first two posts from where data is taken ;-) . All volumes are taken from currency futures. And for situation you described - no way to trace it and to take any data, and no-one will know about it.

In his first thread he explained that the numbers are from the CME

I am pretty sure the Chicago Mercantile Exchange is reliable for the currency futures volume they list from their own exchange

Do not know if this is a great idea, but I just sold EURUSD from 1.2728 - the price just hit this month maximum volumes and is moving back.

But now after +10 pips I will move Stop Loss to breakeven level.

Well, this was not a good idea, just reached stop loss again. So we should make allowance for new as in other systems.

never take a trade during news releases if you don't know the outcome are or you are experienced in that.

with that trade you just tried to force the market by moving against it. i suspect the move was because of this:

there is nothing wrong with your idea but news like that and the market doesn't care about any levels or any technical analysis for that matter.

by the way, when do you think you can add mini dow ?

and is it possible to make a chart out of daily volumes ?

lumesh , I knew that, but did not pay enough attention today.

And after some time I did opened another trade to the same direction as the last - selling EUR/USD from 1.2734 with pending order, SL on 1.2750, Take Profit at 1.2645. I did not follow the trade, was not able to do it, but just checked and was inspired - the position has been opened and take profit reached. I did all my money back, and some pips above it. I took +89pips.

Alltogether for today:
- 28 pips
- 27 pips
+ 89 pips
=
+ 34 pips.

But next time I would like to be on safe side and will not trade in such maner.

Here is attached screen of last trade. Opening right below this trading month, SL some pips above last orange line. Take Profit - several pips above this trading week.

Just reviewed todays trades again the conclusion rules are:
- pay attention to upcoming news
- do not trade at least one hour after large moves on the market
- move Stop Loss to breakeven level as soon as possible (+10 or +15 pips?!)

Unfortunately Mini sized Dow Jones is not available in .csv format on CME , I am thinking on changing hosting to eVOLution as I need linux 'bash' to be able to add almost all products from CME. Most probably it will be done from 1st of December.

The volume charts are in progress right now, possible 'release' - middle of the next week.

And want to say - eVOLution will be free always, it will never be paid.

Hi My Freind..

i am sorry i did not pass here long time.. i am preparing my self to travel that way i am very busy ...

What happen in this Tarde is very important to observe ,
may be this is what happend always Price go to Orange Line in ((News Time)) or ((New Session))
Lets concern on this again and again , if in (news time) or (New Session) price repeat going to Orange line THIS MEAN WE DISCOVER NEW SECRET OF VolTrade.


Add: some time i got Call from trader said " price will go this point - very far - and then come back " After his call every thing happen like what he said exactly . i am still looking for answer how he know ..

VolTrade may be the right answer.. lets observe.
Never sell @ lower upward channel unless breacked and vise versa .

Well, let's observe and learn together, I do not have enough experience with such method.

Pay attention to EUR/USD now - the price will go up from previous week max volumes, and I will buy at 1.2535 level.

I have made some changes to eVOLution :
- added Total Volume - for single day and for period.
- added percent calculation - volume at price to Total Volume.

Reload page with 'Shift' to clear cache.

what time is yesterday volume levels available today ?

i don't understand the new changes, maybe you can explain more.

you don't look for highest volumes anymore ?
