He didn't make clear that 839.80 low is the S&P 500 low. Once you read further down it becomes clear though.

thank you for that...it somewhat confirms what i thought ...pa will decide that soon enough. unlike him though...bottom picking is too fun for me...even if i do get burned

You see inside bars all the time, but you never see an inside bar and then the next full bar inside of that one. I challenge you to backtrack and try to find another. This could end up with over 2500 pips in my account on 1 trade. At 1352 as it stands now.

For the past two 10-day periods, we've experienced 350+ average daily range (ADR). Yesterday yielded a measly 195. A good night for early-to-bed and a lot of sleep.

earlier i mentioned i had half a position long still with 40pip stop loss...my stop loss was never hit but check out the danger for me now...big gulp

I guess at this time of day its the nature of the beast

I notice its right in between phyche levels.. 2450 and 2500

gonna run out of room soon though so should resolve itself shortly..

your finger on the trigger psi?

na...ill let the forex gods decide this one...i have scalped mostly the last 2 weeks but this particular position...its not for me to decide

I went long hours ago, and I have the web on my TV via picture in Picture...the price updates every few minutes and it's been very strange action...I came to office ot look at one minute chart...and all I can say is WTF is this?? LOL Banking on higher equities and oil tomorrow...only time will tell.

chickend out on my long it went to 1.2487 then reverserd down and my numbers were red. below my entry of 1.261. i changed my tp price to 1.2487 and went to take a nap.. i made a total of 85 pips today. 10 awake and 2 trades sleeping for 75 pips.. i may need to sleep more often....

gonna see what it does at 2500 then decide on a trade.. just as i type this it bounced possibly.. was your target around 2500? I guess probably not if your SL was 40.

Don't you feel that US equities will tank like theres no tomorrow? Paulsons speech's effects hasn't fully kicked in yet in my opinion. I'm still on a short bias for the rest of the asia + euro session - what say you?

honestly...i think we are close to the low and intend to keep this position for at least a few hundred pips if i dont get stopped out. lets not forget theres big news coming out tonight including german gdp...that shall be interesting


Edit:this position is a "ignore it exists"...my normal scalping continues =)

I decided to close long for a small profit. Feeling a little under the weather, and don't like to trade when sick.

Divergence is bullish, but 2 bullish divergnces have failed in a row now, so your guess is as good as any.

i said last wendsday eur/aud had broke out a decending 180 mn chart. i also said the long was extremly bullish with more then a 2000 pip potetial.. it see-sawed some but now its has gone up and i was able to buy it at 1100 pips lower then todays high. needless to say i sold it 1000 pips lowere then it is now... GRRRRRRRRRRRR it still has 1000 + tip potential

Paulson's speech didn't kick in because it was so boring, but eventually it will. I don't think that will necessarily drive the market down. Nevertheless, I continue to lean short. After all, PA is under the daily pivot.

oil down almost 1.5% since the close and still no movement. that support has a lot of pressure. a 5 buck move up or down in oil should be big pips. maybe up since it wont go down comparibly to oil
