pfxglobal . com has a turorial on how to use COT as a trade tool.

Basically the commercials are usually on the opposite side of the trade, where the positions are hedges, large players are more direct spot market players. Pikers, non issue.

Wow, this is getting serious. Stuff is breaking down everywhere. DOW below 8400, Oil below 56, Gold down 22+, Pound below 1.50 Citi below 10, BUT, Haha Ford and GM are in the Green - LOL!

Well ... I wouldn't say, "smarter"
Just more equiped. Better tools, faster news, top rate analyticals,
team of professionals, better and faster executions and rates, no
broker trading against them (Market Makers) manipulating price,
and I think the biggest advantage is, they have the money to back
up any move they make in the market.
