Hi Tradewell -- the traditional settings for the Ichimoku study are 9, 26, 52. An accepted alternate is 7, 22, 44.

I just attempted to sell the AUDUSD at 0.6692 and the trade never executed.

Missed out on 50 pips minimum.

I don't use it either. I saw some data on a website showing using it was no better than using MA's.

The trend, which is clearly down, as in presently 3300 pips off the yearly (alltime) high and only 400+ pips off the yearly low.

I've made $19 profit today which means that I am up 2.08% (of total capital) for the day. I think I'll leave it at that for the day and see how I go tomorrow

Yeah that's what you were saying at 1.2350...A lot of shorts lost their asses last week on the 1000 pip mpve...

We are still in a downtrend, but there is such a thing as retracements. Ya know.

2 up days in a row does not make a new trend?

Keep looking to go long. We need more buyers to add to the selling pressure when the next drop comes.

I was looking for a double bottom, but seems hesitant to get there, and perhaps the excessive selling has slowed.

really the EURUSD pair is likely fairly valued around here so , the days of extreme action may be coming to an end....we'll have to wait and see.

Good luck everyone, and lock in those profits!

edit: On thing, I think if obama wins, the dollar will get crushed.
