I trade through FXCM, so i simply hit the BUY/SELL option, get into the trade and then set the Stops and Tp's etc, when the market is this fast. most of the time you have enough time to place a full order though.

I'm still holding a short on EU from 1.3226, so this run on EU and GU has added nicely.

You took half for a free trade and moved to b/e. This is not and will not end up being a mistake. Nice job LVG.

No I don't trail my trades, i'm working on an exit method (will post if it works out in the long run), but basically i leave the stop in place, last trade gained 500+ pips from 1.40++. essentially i like to give it as much room as possible, then look for a reversal/retracement in the trend, but i'm trying to simplify it.

Not even looked at the daily 20, will have to at some point.

Peter mentioned the 20 on the Daily, that's why I brought it up that's all.

I had some long pips as well but cut them loose, regretting that now. Oh well.

this is always an issue, when to call it a day, someone once said to me markets will go further than you think, so i let it run free and wild to go were it wants to and then look for a positive indication of a turn around, say a 10% gain/loss in price - still working on it though.

I just wrote some MT4 scripts to help the execution of DIB Trades.

When you see a setup, if its short you double click DIBS_SellStop and it will place 2 orders, 1 sell stop with a TP to breakeven and SL at the high of the previous bar. The other just places the stoploss.

You double click this only after the last bar has closed so it trades according to the values of the smaller bar.

DIBS_BuyLimit does the opposite.

Put these 2 scripts in your MT4 Scripts folder.

Now to transfer my Forex account to an MT4 so I can take advantage of this too

Note: VERY IMPORTANT, do no do not DO NOT run script as an expert advisor, it wont be pretty! (100's of orders, madness!)

Great GU Dibs Jarroo ! Unfortunately I wasn't able to pick it
Btw I'm let still running an UJ sell opened on 22 Oct @ 98.89 now up 639 pips, will trail it with an SMA480 on H1 (it's equivalent to SMA20 daily)
