He must be reading the back posts from last week on the GY thread... thousands of pips in a couple dozen hours could be interpreted as excessive movement I guess.

Hope he wasn't on the wrong side of all that... Great post!!

Analysts are sure that JPY will grow. But oil falls in price. How it to affect JPY ?

Now it is not needed to look on indicators. At the market created chaos. It is needed to be jail in trade. we go by 1.4. I think so.

Interesting, nikkei just touched a 26 year LOW. S Korea just made largest cut ever of 75 basis pts, the asian summit is over and everyone is waiting for NY to see if Friday was real or not. Way too much excitement... I'll wait with my eyeballs closed.

Saudi Arabia even taking losses now.

"Gulf Bank said in a statement it had advised the central bank Thursday that some customers had incurred losses stemming from "the significant decline" in the exchange rate of the euro against the U.S. dollar. what resistances is it fooling with around the 70 mark? the gap down, that should be a psyche level right?

I've been trying to figure that out for the last few hours. I can't find any good S&R lines besides the ones it's made while doing it, I can't find any pivot lines and I've only found 1 dodgy fib line off a fib number I don't normally trust.

Might have to wait for the Euro session to get a clearer idea on the 4H, looks like no trading for me today (Australian).

Now it's starting to push all the way up as EU is now gaining momentum this will push further once europe session starts

I hope so, a lot more to work with up there. I'm not brave enough to 'buy' against trend so I'm waiting for retraces before hitting the sell trigger. Good luck to all those buying it up to where I want it.

I'm using FXCM and the spreads are currently moving around 8 for EURUSD.. is that a sign of low volatility or the broker being greedy?

I didn't notice such large spreads on majors very often..?

yuck, the eu looks to be pretty volatile to me tonight, but what do i know. I would think they would raise the spread in HIGH volatility times, not low.

Sorry, I just realized I had forgotten to post this awhile back, this one reflects current price at 11.45 Pm CST on the 1hr. I first saw this fib on my 20m and just x'ferred it to the 1 hr for space sake.

I think this might be the mystery "70" S/R level you're looking for earlier.. I fibbed the lower anchor from the support level at 2735, which goes back into last week to the 21st until it broke cleanly on the 24th.

The 162% extension is picture perfect, and the more importantly, the other levels seem to be respected as well. Enjoy.

Funnily enough I've still got my sell limit set at 2735 exactly - I've had it there since Aus open - optimistically waiting. I knew it was a strong S&R line but I didn't explore it as far as you have.
