If the consolidation range lasts like the previous one then it should end tomorrow about 1:00pm est. Anything is possible.

800 about to break, then when 774 goes we will see 641 later today.

DAILY ANALYSIS FOR EURUSD

Bias: While 1.2726-36 chains there are danger of a alteration to 1.2943-84 else loss of 1.2660 sees 1.2507-39

Losses were fairly overwhelming once more almost getting the 1.2709 goal. I have two scenarios to stare at today. First is a straight improvement from this morning's 1.2726 low, which must extend over the 1.2859 high, seen so far to expand to 1.2917 and 1.2943 - possibly as far as 1.2984. However, take care with any long position. Only above 1.2984 would provide a stronger boost for 1.3123-53 and 1.3256.

WTF is that?

I was getting bored and decided to throw the chart up for anyone that might use it. It's my M30 chart, off of which I trade. Similar to others on this thread, I draw trend lines, from a few hours to a few days, to several months, just to help "frame" the action and predict future pa.

I don't mind you questioning or critiquing my work, but next time leave the WTF out please.

i sent here from two weeks ago my calls for euro+cable
i forecast the continuation of the down trend.
another breakout confirm the down trend in both euro and british pound.


euro+cable:

i opened one short position @ 1.4700 area in euro & @ 1.74.xx in cable
and price now almost 2000 pip profit in each.


i like to thanks all other great traders to give me the chance to see my targets come true .
so the question now where the price is going?
the answer in the trend
the trend is down i wait for another 1000 pip before i close my positions.
as i said before no matter price go up will fall like rock

Two answers ... definitely yes and not really. yes I knew something was up. no i didn't know it would be 800 pips, but i did know it would be significant fairly early on because of the support levels it blew thru.

I went short at (3504)what you would probably have called a breakout long on your channel charts and that's part of what I don't get when you post those kind of things. But that's no issue with me, as I'm trading my charts. It may be with others, but that's none of mine.

Anyway, i hope this chart is self explanatory, I've tried to dissect how the beginning hours of that drop looked to me and why i posted what I did as time went on. I shorted almost every retrace along the way, in addition to my already running shorts and the new entry when price pierced the upper BB. Remember this is a 2hr, and I'm obviously using other TF's for precise entry and exits as part of the overall deal.

The other indi's I use do not appear on this chart and would make no sense to someone that didn't know what they were telling me. They kept me in the trend and got me back in on the retraces. They did their job and I have no complaints. You can clearly see even with this chart how price did certain things at certain times, and that alone would tell me what I needed to know. The rest of the drop looks just like what you see here, and you said it best yourself... bear candle after bear candle... what else do you need?

I've posted till I'm even sick of hearing it that you (not you personally) MUST know how to see what you're looking at. If you want to go long, you'll see long. Or you'll see short. We all do that to some degeree. You'll find ample opportunities to do so on every retrace or even a momentary stall in price during an 800 pip move. Price does that sort of thing from time to time. I sat here, read the posts of those who were getting stopped out doing exactly that and shook my head while I kept resetting my SL's and TP's all night.

Do you remember the post I made the morning before the drop and again that afternoon? I stressed several times the word "relentless." There was a clue there. That drop is what relentless looks like. Maybe you've never seen that kind of thing before, or the signs before the move. I have. I've been on the wrong side of a BOJ intervention and will never forget what relentless feels like. I've bookmarked the press release that announced the fact too late to do me any good and I have a screenshot of it to remind me I'm not immortal.

Do you remember or even know the market news that day? Do you know what the Nikkei was doing all that evening leading up to the Frankie headfake thru the BB at 1am CST? I recall you've stated you have not much use for funnymentals and all, but you're also the one saying you were clueless. To each his own of course, but you asked about my indicators. Evaluating all that kind of thing is one of my indicators. It provides me with information I need to risk my coin. As always when a breakout seems to be imminent, I was trying to get a feel for the pulse of the markets, watching the charts and waiting to hear "Gentlemen, start your engines..." I'd been doing that from the 12th to the 19th.

The numbered and shaded ellipses on the chart along with other confirming signals on shorter TF's were music to my ears, therefore I was locked and loaded on the 3 pairs I trade. Remember, many times I'm also looking at EJ and essentially trading EU off that chart. I take the time to build EU charts for this thread becuz that's the deal, but a pair that often moves 3 to 1 makes certain things stand out better..."

My trend indicators were rock solid the whole trip down. I left the retraces alone even tho I left pips on the table, but why go long for 20 or 40 high risk pips when I can go short for 3 times that in total confidence?

So I hope this and the chart help to answer your question. In some ways it seems to me you're always trying to reinvent the wheel. That's ok, you've got a lot of energy, and somebody had to knock the corners off the original one at some point back in the day to get a round one...

But there's nothing wrong with something that already works either...

Then you're not looking at 1/2 the charts on the thread. When I see charts that make me wanna say WTF, I just ignore them and go on to something that might be productive.
