you know....i've never really learned how to do that on my software.....i use VT Trader....and any time you want to set any sort of SELL / BUY that would get triggered it never seems to work right for me.

Maybe a demo account and some testing is in need.

Trying to find the right fibs on short notice is harder than it sounds.. I 'm reaching back to find retrace or support fibs from the climb up, as the drop down had been so brutal it throws the swing fibs off, as there just hasn't hardly been any on a longer TF... And nothing is worse than a faulty fib.

So far, here's what I've found to help orient us... The fib levels are on the chart, but the yellow 79% current support level is near to busted already ... In conjunction witht he more recent resistance or +extension fibs, it helps to keep you right side up. I'll try to update this asap.

Nothin else to do right now but watch the pips roll in. 6 open shorts already scaled down to at least 50 or 60% of original order size, so even a wicked retrace across the board wouldn't hurt. And I'm not seeing buyers anywhere...

I don't know your software but you basically put in a order to buy at $XXX price then it buys the currency at that price (or close to that price). You don't have to be there to "pull the trigger". I was playing disc golf on my land while my program was selling short from 1.3050 earlier today.

i still short op:13248, not reach my TP yet, holding until 12866.. trailing stop 70 pips..

anyone have another suggestion?

yes i have something close to that in my software.....but it never works out right.....and the few times i've used it....my price gets "touched" and then there is a reverse and away we go in the other direction......

then i come back to the computer and find i've lost 100 pips and didn't even have the moment to sit and sweat it out like any other bad trade!!!

i'll give it a go and see if i can finally make sense of it though.

You may be a victim of the spread. Your computer may show bid price when you really purchase at the ask price. Price can appear to touch orders, stops or limits without triggering them.

Only possible support areas I see presently are:

1.2775-1.2710 zone (3 different fibs) and then 1.2160

EJ busted thru a significant weekly support from 04, and is 120 (oops) or so pips from the weekly -179% retrace. Check out the EJ tank chart I posted this morning for the levels on that one. This could start slowing down here as GY is also at a significant SL...

I need to go find some more fibs...
