Hello Cobra! You're up early, just to usher in London I guess, huh? I actually did OK yesterday, +82 pips. I'm generally aiming for 60-90 nowadays, trading on the M30. My stress levels could not handle the M5, although I use 3 different M5 set-ups for confirmation.

Glad to see you're doing well. Have a prosperous day. I'm waiting for London to kick this thing up (or down) for about 150 PIPs. I'm thinking up, but you know what that gets you. I'm happy to wait out the pa.

Just curious...How many traders on this forum live on the west coast and how many on the east? I'm in Marin County, just north of San Francisco and for the past few years have been trading the US open at 5 am, however this week I'm switching it up to the London Open during 11pm to 2 am....seems like to many land mines to watch out for during US open lately with all the recent news events...
Ragu, I live in Virginia. I generally feel it important (for me only) to trade both London and New York. Tonight, I've been on too long. Hope to ride out the establishment of sound direction, lodge a trade that can run - with a suitable S/L - and go to bed.

ragu: i am cali too...i trade as much as i am awake which is almost 24/7...back in the day only london/euro session and then us session provided good trading opportunities.....recently (past few months) any time provided a good opportunity...today...i think we switched back to normal calm markets...to be seen in next few weeks
Ahh..ok...so I'm not the only nut staying up late with my hat on backwards, drinking green tea and watching the global mkts on 2 screens...good..lol...yes, your right, it seems the markets are calming a bit and the technicals are becoming much more relevant....I was beginning to think we I was on the Vegas strip with the recent volatility. Your posts are great btw.

Yes, if possible I would love to trade both, however I run a real estate company in the daytime and trading both sessions would leave me running on empty....Euro just dropped big.
If 1.3250 is broken we could see 1.29 by end of week.

most impressive. the bear continuation flag pattern really held up to its name...first technical pattern that has made sense in some time...good..my confidence is coming back in these markets and the quality of my observations should improve...for now...trying to catch a falling knife is foolish...we havent seen these lows since before even i was trading hah...if your not short already watching is the best vantage point...if you do want to attempt a long entry...if the low made on that friday over two weeks ago is strong current support we should see a reversal pretty soon...

Many stops hit at once creating a chain reaction. I think it just opened more bear opportunities.
