I'm pretty sure that's the reason price actually is alot lower now than it was a couple hours ago when you said that... and btw there are several pairs that reflect that fact a whole lot better than EU... My last GY trade alone is +400 pips and in free fall. I stand by my original statement at the top.

This statement contradicts almost every word you posted to me about what I should or should not discuss on this thread concerning global events and how they have nothing to do with price. Should I now assume you've changed your mind? If so, that's convenient, but not consistent.

Well, you definitely just contradicted every word of the first quote above where "good traders don't predict". I appreciate your concern but 2 hours and change later, my shorts are in profoundly good shape, so you can rest well on that count.

Unlike your last post to me, I'm not telling you or suggesting to you what you should or shouldn't post. If I don't find something useful, I move on. If I get annoyed by anything often enough, I use the ignore button. I expect the same from others. Use it if you can, ignore it if you want. Makes no difference to me whatsoever. But to tell me to leave my opinion on something out of my future posts and stick to my charts is just silly, and then insert your identical opinion on the same thing 2 hours later when my original thought turned out to be accurate is just sillier..

I started the morning off by discussing a potential dirty EJ H&S forming about halfway thru, followed it as it formed and executed, and posted the charts that said so before the fact. Price is currently within 30 pips or so of the original low and one open trade alone is currently +350 pips, not counting reloads along the way. That was fun. My posts, charts, and any comments I've made for that trade and this day in particular, starting from early this morning stand or fall on their own merits, and everyone is welcome and expected to draw their own conclusions, as always.

Anyone here could have taken that same exact trade ahead of time based on the info I posted. Most anyone here could also have seen the same trade just as I did, but my efforts were primarily for those that could not or just did not at this point in their trading curve. No biggie. It's a whole lot easier to trade w/o bothering with this thread. I do it becuz it's fun and I enjoy it. If someone finds something useful as well, it's a win/win. When it stops being fun tho... what's the point?

You're still relatively new here notwithstanding almost 1300 posts in a month and a half, and there's no doubt that you have a faithful following that find your posts helpful as you frequently tell us from the PM's you get. That's excellent, and that's as it should be, but this is a wide and diverse international community here, and some folks actually had different views from you before you got here.

I don't interfere in your stuff. Let me in turn suggest that you extend the same courtesy to everyone else here, and you'll find fewer of these kinds of responses.

What is your spread folks? I have 6 pips at Saxo for some of a time now.

2 pip spread, always, at FXDD....except maybe when the central banks screw around at moments of important news releases....which I never trade anyway.

SL is for people who like to hand money over to the other traders.

If you have the capital and a plan, you can use a mental SL to cut losses in a worst case scenerio. Any chart read may not pan out exactly as you expect, so a little flexibility is in order.

Imagine something flat lines for a while as traders place their bets and put in their SL. there is a whole lot of free money around that flat line (or trend line for that matter), so it makes sense for the price action to sweep around and scoop up those SL. It's free money.

it has come to my attention yet again that i am fully misunderstood. i realize most of you are much older then i am and probably are thinking who is this 22 year old with one year experience in forex and 1200 posts in one month and who does he think he is? always talking like he has all the answers and knows all possible outcomes and every time you list your own personal opinions he comes back with some comment to make your observation seem meaningless. the greatest forex analysts in the world are struggling to understand this market and this punk thinks he knows it all. i understand why you would feel insulted especially if you have been trading currencies for a long time, and are twice the age this 22 year old is. i probably would feel insulted myself. but i truly hope you all understand this. i believe i was born to do forex. the way my mind works with my psychological attributes make me the perfect candidate for this job. i believe just like it was manifest destiny for early americans to cover this whole continent, i believe it is manifest destiny for me to become one of the greatest currency traders ever born. combine my age with my idea of who i am, i feel no remorse in listing my own opinions even based on what you say. but do not make the mistake of thinking i am insulting you...i am merely giving my interpretation because after all this is a forum and in forums opinions are listed and opinions can be wrong or right. you do not have to consider my opinion if you dont agree with it just like i may not consider yours. call it just an exchange of ideas.

dedicating my life to forex for now until i get off the ground has made me have no social life. i post so much because all i do all day is trade and sleep...it gets lonely and thats why i consider you all my friends and talk to you all just like you would be my friends. this means a 22 year old talking to someone 40 + without taking into account the respect someone my age should give someone your age. this causes misunderstandings i just hope you realize now there is no harm intended.



on another note.

i took the past 6 hours to think about why after the last small bull rally this pair went south so quick but not much lower. i then came to a brilliant conclusion...one that i wish i would have noticed sooner. we are in bear territory. we have been since 1.6. what this means is there is a common candlestick pattern that one must always be aware of. its really candlesticks 101. in a pattern, 3 candlesticks going in the same direction suggest a rally in that direction...momentum just picking up. currently we have been going down since august. the daily candlesticks shows this clearly. very rarely has it happened that 3 candlesticks are bullish in a row as that would suggest the start of a bull rally. which brings us to this week. 2 candlesticks closed bullish even though there was huge spikes. the third candlestick which just recently closed HAD to be bearish to not let anyone assume we are entering bull market. which is why i would not be surprised if this daily candlestick is a full bull candle and closes above 1.38

If it took you that long to figure out we have been heading south for the past 4 months then I suggest you aren't destined to be the best forex trader that ever lived.

Next time someone tells you stop hunting doesn't exist in this market because of the volume show them a screen print of that little move and ask them to explain it.

i was reffering to what is happening now not to what has been going on since 1.6...i am fully aware and have been we are in bear market if you had paid attention to me for the past 5-6weeks

sidenote: i was actually bearish since january when the market was still sideways trending between 1.52xx and 1.6000 which is why i blew my account several times. as a great forex trader in this thread put it (ak4x)...timing is everything and as a day trader you must take into account all that happens every single day...not long term outlooks
