shhhh hey hey now dont reveal my evil intentions. haha just kidding..no i share because its my pleasure and i too am wrong many times...others opinions based on what i say/do are something that interests me greatly to improve my methods. i am young in the bussiness and even though i dont read books i dont follow any particular methods and my strategy adapts to any given situation...people in this thread have helped me notice errors in my logic and for that i thank you all greatly

Hear, hear...I completely agree with the Education for free, look at me I live in Cali, well it was supposed to be free...."Master Plan for Education" Tax Tax Tax. You keep it up... the energies of the Universe will converge upon you...So where this thing gonna go now??? Basically FLAT, not any more

depends how you view it. to me this is huge whats happening now...we broke out of a major downtrend some hours ago and all attempts to reenter the channel failed. this doesnt seem to be a case where the wall gets extended so if this move up holds its ground...we may see further upside the next few days. sure it may not help me now but later in the asian session or london session i will know how to trade...buy only on the dips as there is more bullish sentiment...at least up until 1.3882(previous low a few weeks ago which should now be strong resistance....just my 2 cents haha

Euroland rate = 3.75

1.5 is a lot closer to 0 than 3.75.

ECB has a lot further to fall.

Intervention? All the currencies that should be free falling (EU, AU) are being propped, IMO. Just look at the chart!!!

Aussie will come back not so sure about the euro. This may be the high volume capitulation, but sheesh these moves are HUGE, considering how long it took to climb up to those dollar lows.

whatever fundamentals may be...do not forget that fundies are forever intertwined with technicals. these charts that we all see is what allows the "market makers" to make their money based on what patterns they want to use. thats why my profile says eur/usd only...each pair acts differently.

in any case...i post charts for the short term all the time. however..take a look at this long term chart...a weekly one...it explains greatly todays events..fundamentals or not

It appears that the big players keep propping this up.....keeping it from falling out of the current range until they have exchanged their long positions to short positions. If this is the case, when they finish they will give this a strong push down to start their profits. Just an opinion

what do you mean propping it up?

I am thinking this might be options related, but the futures for forex don't necessarily fall on same as equities...but food for thought.

I mean they (central banks or hedge funds) keep buying it up on miniscule volume to keep the price high, then enter larger volume short side positions at the higher prices. If this is the case, then they are posturing for a landslide move down for big profits on all this manipulation of theirs.

I know a bank trader and they play intra-day session game and stop hunting game.

They know exactly where stops are being placed and they wait until price hits a trend line that most believe should break and then as soon as it dips below they buy heavy for 20 PIPS then sell.

Lot's of stops at .3750 so bulls will really try to make a push for it.
