Nice to see price doing what you most expect it to! A symmetrical triangle is a continuance pattern, so in this case, a downward movement would be the way to go.

This was a nice opportunity for the sharp-eyed! Of which I'm usually not!!
I particularly liked how the price formed a doji at the top of the Trade Continuance and just nudged the FE138.2% expansion line.

I wasn't on it, Happy, as I was involved with the eur/usd fib trade I described earlier. It was just curiosity on my part, watching whether or not it would actually break southwards from the triangle.

A possible ascending triangle in cable? What do you guys think?

Edit: A couple of spinning tops inside the formation indicating indecision.

This should be a bullish breakout, mate, but let's wait and see......

Edit: If this breaks up, I've got a .50 psych-line to cross followed by a mid-point (MR1).

.. Placed a buy stop above the ceiling which happens to be the confluence of MR1-1.7556 and psyche level-1.7550. Let's see what PA does.

Edit: Opposite breakout. Sold at 1.7530
Edit: Exit at 1.7500.

Cable just broke up the ascending triangle. Long from 1.7560.

Edit: Exit at +10 points.

I'm not in this one, as after the ascending triangle breakout, it occured to me that perhaps this could be a nice fib pull back, but before I could take advantage, I had to attend to something else entirely divorced from trading. In other words, one of everyday life's little annoyances. Consequently, I've missed a great fib trade. I hope someone else got it!

Price has stalled on a 3-way confluence. I'm just waiting to see if it starts rising, mate!

Edit: Price dropping like a stone. Giving this one up as a bad job.
