This makes sense. Thanks! I am long EU, but not AU. There is news coming out for AU tonight that could damage the stoch,

i exited my trade...tp was 1.3636....too scared to let it run longer as bias is still very much bearish and there is strong resistance every ten pips or so...good luck sir!

I am going to try and wait at least a week. sentiment couldn't be worse right now, so a turn around could bode well. a move over 1.3671 would be bullish in a big way, if you believe in technicals. 20SMA on 4H

good luck with that..personally im more of a get in get out kind of guy but trying to ride trends. right now i dont see a trend yet i do see this...any bull rally is squashed by massive bear moves...check this 1minute chart of the last 5-10minutes....how can anyone trade that =/

okay so you are looking at a much longer term than most in this thread trade, that is fine...I think over the next week of so that is a good trade, we shall see. Just seems like a risk i do not wanna take.

I thought it was some serious stuff lol.

Consumer sentiment should be down before yesterdays rate cut, so may neutralise the number.
Home loans I think a similar thought.

Market thin and choppy.Traders edgy and small parcels exaggerating movements as no one willing to hold sizeable positions.

no need for insults. if you follow this forum you will notice ALL of us speculate what will happen...sure trend is down...but that does not speak about tommorow and as things have developed lately...it can turn around at any time just like we went down so much

since i said that...a break of 1.3882=bull territory..until then bias for the longer term is bearish but given the particular moment in time there can be bullish sentiment or bearish sentiment...right now...its as neutral as neutral gets

Just trade your numbers, everyone trades different durations and has different risk tollerence, onlyone that can confuse you is you... Just my opinion. If anyone trades based on others analysis they take that risk....If you are trading based on what you see here you are lagging anyway because any good treader would place their trade then post in here and the move could be over before you can take advantage of it...

4 hour chart is finally showing a nice channel with two parallel lines and an up trend correction within the channel. 1.3667 could come into play on the upper channel trendline, which is also pretty much on the R1 pivot, which has held on the last two 4HR candles. Would make for a nice short entry if that trendline and pivot hold.

I am actually very confused on where people find these pivots. Some people use ActionForex, some people use Acumen's system, which is correct?

And I have a pivot on my MT4 platform..

It based on a pretty set formula, although there may be some alternative versions I'm sure.

Resistance Level 3 = R3 = R2 + YestHigh - YestLow
Resistance Level 2 = R2 = PP + YestHigh - YestLow
Resistance Level 1 = R1 = PP * 2 - YestLow
PivotPoint = PP = ( YestHigh + YestLow + YestClose ) / 3
Support Level 1 = S1 = PP * 2 - YestHigh
Support Level 2 = S2 = PP - YestHigh + YestLow
Support Level 3 = S3 = S2 - YestHigh + YestLow

I'm using a built-in indicator in Tradestation called "Floor Trader Pivots" You can do a Google search on "trade pivots" and find many resources.
