I actually don't think so...talk of a global rate cut tomorrow..which would be carry trade positive.

those fibs are innacurate. i keep forgetting ibfx opens one hour after the market does. so when there are big gaps like this week...i dont even know the exact value the market opened at...ignore that post as its irrelevant =/

Reuters:
Suresh Ramanathan, head of FX strategy, CIMB Investment Bank in Kuala Lumpur said the RBA move increased the possibility of a co-ordinated rate cut by G-10 central banks, led by the European Central Bank, the U.S. Federal Reserve and the Bank of England.

'The bottom line is that this is a strong signal to the market that unified action will come after all.'

Speculation that the Group of Seven rich nations would agree on a coordinated response, including rate cuts, to the financial turmoil reached fever pitch on Monday and helped Wall Street erase some of its biggest intraday losses on record.

Bank failures in the United States and Europe are shattering confidence in Japan's export markets, accelerating an economic slump that already bears the hallmarks of a recession.

My analysis is telling me that it is more likely to head back down again. See attached image.

All depends what will happen in next 4Hours.
If drop below 1.3500 all this up move will be erased!

It's uncertain now allright, but if it breaks 3657 daily r1 which is also about the top of the channel in a few hours from now, it's likely we're now in an uptrend. May sound a bit fast but with the volatility going on and the way it bounced up the previous time from near 39 it makes sense.
