bringin sexy back - stochastics

i have shorted this pair from two days ago and keep adding to it.....for me as long as u stay with the trend from bigger tf it is alright......even the drawdown is big but bigger tf usually gives pips equal to it.....

"trade with trend,something goes wrong trend will save you,trade against trend,something goes wrong,say bubye to ur position........"

using this setup for quite sometime now....
never touch 5 or 15 mins...if u want to trade that tf make sure it doesn't against the trend from bigger tf.....
and MM of course......

aud/usd is getting very nice slingshot
it can be profitable short.

Mine looks like whipsawed at the moment. Trend may continue south to Fibzone 987. Lets see how it goes.

4h is stronger than 1h , so slingshot is more probably

I noticed your stoch different than mine. Do you always use these numbers? Did you come up with them and did you find they work better than those recommended earlier in this thread??

Can you briefly go over your trade paradigm that allowed you to nab these pips?

ie: check 4H first then 1H, then blah blah blah

I've reached a point of overanalysis and trade paralysis made worse by a 50 pip hammering on what I thought was a good trade but apparently I entered too early (my first 1 hour "sexy" trade). TRADE ANALYSIS/PARALYSIS----too many stoch, too many time frames is there a simple approach for mentally challenged traders such as myself. Please enlighten.

Very impressive results. Notice your setting is different from the original thread settings. Are your 4.3.3 and 35.10.10 set at close/close?

can someone comment on which of these is most important say when looking at a single timeframe with this system:

20 has crossed the 50
20 or 50 has crossed their signals
5 is overbought or oversold
5 has crossed its signal

trying to get all the above lined up on multiple time frames seems almost impossible. It has to be easier than this.

Great job dude! One thing I like about this system is that it forces you to be patient and not overtrade. Although I was watching the 30m eurusd charts on yesterday and I couldn't believe how many opportunities there were!

There were some nice setups this morning. I was looking at the 5 min with 15 min as confirmation.

i wouldnt take that trade , i trade only on high TF (mostly 1D,4H,1H)
and dont like to stress trading on small TF .
but ...
Slow sts on 15min are trending down , only fast was trading up , when u found nice setup on 5min.

im sorry i did not write it earlier (after dinner) but i went with my friends to play soccer.
Did not play like 3 months and ii was getting tired so fast and regulary

I mostly use 2 settings of sts.
1)4,2,2 and 20,2,10 (got this settings from melpheos, this guy brought here , in this thread a lot of wonderfull job and gave us a lot of good paths)
2)my 2nd settings are :5,3,3 and 35,10,10

right now for me is doesnt matter which i use , i know sts very well and like them a lot.they are easy to use.
When u will use them longer time u will feel same i do

My "strategy" :
i look at 1week and 1Day ; it gives me view of trend (long trend , i very often keep positions during whole day or even week or 2weeks)
I dont use SL and TP (maybe it is not good idea and im not supposed to share this informations but i dont use it)
when i keep positions during whole days , somethimes i have -50p or even -200p and after day or few days i got +200 or +400pips.
But i see on 1week or 1D chart that it will go in my direction.
It makes trading stressless and profitable

for me is important trend! i never trade agains that.
sometimes i dont open new positions day or 2 because i dont see enough good setup.
Dont like to risk and loss. so i keep no trading , but later when i see good setup i got much more pips so it is good recompensate for not trading days

So when i know trend (slow sts are very CLEAR pointing up or down and same is fast sts on 1Week and 1D) im looking for fast sts on 4h and 1h.
and this is my entry.
Very often when i open positions it was retracement , and in hour or a few hours i got -50 or -100pips , i draw fibo on 4h or 1h and check when is hi probably retracement to end , and try to open new position like before.
This gives me 2 times more pips and bigger chance to not get loss.
because if it not drop to make my first positions in profit i will get profit from second positions (it very often recompense loss from 1st positions)
and i can close 1st with small loss and 2nd with bigger profit.
Or if i was right i got profit from both positions [mostly very big profit]
and it is worth risk

uffff i wonder if somebody will read it , hope it is not boring.

1D is clear DOWN , 4h is getting nice setup.
[ i checked 1week and 1month too , there i see : 1month great down trend , and broken up trend on 1week - no need of more confirmations]
i know weekend can bring some changes , but i know it is strond down trend.
i opened sell positions.
even when market will open and i will get -100p I belive it will go down.
sometimes we need to wait to get profit so this is reason i dont use SL and TP.
I close positions when i get profit i like [which is enough for me]

sometimes i trade on 5 pairs.
1st i close with -200p because market went in wrong way and im sure it will not return ,
but 4 other positions i close with +600p or more.
overall im in nice profit
im not afroid to close lossing positions when i see it is nothing i can do with it
but i use high TF it is rare to not be profitable after a few days
i remember pair i had -600p and did not close it , after week i got +300p.
i just opened in wrong time but i was sure it will go where it was poiting to.

That doesn't look like a valid Sexy setup to me. Besides, wasn't the market closed around that time?

yeap , it doesnt look like sexy sts setup , but on 1week trend is very strong , on 1H is divergency so it was very early sign that this move can be very nice
Today morning i closed this position +200p.
And closed whole last week trading with result +1700pips.

screenshot was taken at 2am today before nice wave down.

i dont like tradind on monday. today we will know if it is time for some retracemnt or most pairs will drop much more.

Guys stick to sts and use it all the time , when u will find only good setups u will make nice money and do it very safe and easy
for me stressless method is what i was looking for , and sts is that method.

This was a nice setup that went over 100 pips.
