for ppl that are trading with a diferent balance, say $100
they need profit locks much smaller than that

just thought id offer

i can whip up a small ea thatl do all

It is an EA and it should be installed in the chart all the time, One chart is ok, used the most volatile one.

I have the miniprotect for that. Please lets avoid any more EAs for now to avoid confusion.

That worked. For some reason I had to close the chart, re-open it, attach the EA, and then attach Orest's indicator.

Now my profit is locked at $410, and I'm at $605 in the position.

I took profit once earlier at about $330 because I couldn't get the EA to work. Then I re-entered later in the evening, and I'm at $680 right now.

This is just demo, until I build up some more confidence. I think the easiest thing for me right now has been:

1. Watch the indicator - if it says SHORT, then be prepared for that.
2. Verify ProfitCalc agrees with the indicator.
3. Make sure the anchor pairs stay where they are for a while.
4. Enter position - I'm only doing basket trades - I haven't seen the value of only trading a a couple of pairs.

(I wish I was trading live today, lol)

since market open iv peaked at over 1000 pips
right now its 870

i still have same trades

Yes, that's amazing. That's about where I would be at if I would have staying in with the first trade. But now with the EA working, I can actually go to bed, lol !!!

though mine dont realy count, as iv been getting drunk n cooked a fish dinner, i havent been watching

all i did was go short all 14 at market open

Wow. TC is the is the first prize we are beating all the ATC participants now in winnings. That is the beauty of basket trading, the probability of winning is higher than just trading individual pairs. Ask me i dont know also, i just observe it and take advantage of it.

the ea doesnt trade the strategy, its realy meant as a tool
unless u mean ur trailing it?

my results are good for now, but only cause the markets going 1 direction, its during the bad times that id measure results

I thought that's what the 2ProtectAccount EA will do for you - close out when it retraces to the "Protect" level.

I'm also up $1100 right now (on top of the $330 I closed out earlier).

since iv seen no good exit strategy besides a dollar amount, im running 5 demos, the other 4 got stopped out long ago

the 5th im doing a stop n reverse
im waiting a reason to exit

1570 pips now

Using a money management strategy with this.

Micro Account Start 250, I am now 150% in ROI in less than 12 hours =)

i did that, there all stopped out

im 1700 now
but this is maybe unusual conditions

for the most part, id say use the ea

but today, with the 700b stuff, i knew letting the trades run would work

this is a 1 time thing

im 1611 now
