in the monthly candle chart AUDUSD ,if we have pay attention to green zone ,this observation shows us that a series blue candles showing the diminishing power of the longs.then we have seen a selloff and after a form bearish engulfing pattern in the top.
now i see forming a identical 3 crows bearish pattern (of course defective)
dear all , always be aware of the longer-term picture.
also attention to candlestick real bodies ,an accumulation of real body highs or lows at a given level is significant

we know criteria for a truth hammer
1- the real body is at the upper end of the trading range.the color of the real body is not important.
2-a long lower wick should be twice the height of the real body
3-it should have no,or a very short upper wick
why why this hammer has not good work ??
a-a hammer is a bottom reversal pattern .when this line appears during a downtrend it becomes a bullish hammer .
but attention to long upper wick harami (38.2 )
in fact this hammer is only a correction for real downtrend no a reversal pattern.
i have waited for appear a hammer in this zone for start the next impluse wave

On daily basis we need confirmation for trend change or trend continuation.

Weekly chart however is clear: After a shooting star

we see a large bearish candle, which might be the first from a bearish crow pattern.

The daily chart shows for friday a neutral highwave candle or maybe doji. Opening and closing price has been nearly the same. The Bulls have taken the price up till 106, which was a pretty good entry for short. But bears have managed it, to take price down.

However last 2 weeks weekly candles, we see large lower wicks, the price
bounced from 103.6, this is indication for a pretty though support. If this is broken, price might find new support around 102.5 to retest 103.6 before heading lower.

Last Fridays candle was a neutral candle. We have seen some before, I marked some on the daily chart.

Weekly chart is clear:

After a weekly high wave candle 2 weeks before, we have seen confirmation of more bearish movements with last weeks candle.

Next main targets on my chart is 142.600 and then 140.

Fundamentels here in eur-land are extremly euro bearish, because this
weekend a 49 billion $ bailout plan for Hypo Real Estate has failed:

Interesting to see, how markets will react.

we have large gaps for different currencys.

I hope they will be filled soon, to give me
a better entry price for short these one.

Peaches, thanks alot for your reply.

It's indeed a bearish engulfing but there is a bullish window opened today. I will go short ONLY IF there is a selling presure after closing the gap which will result on a break down below the friday's low.

Until so I am waiting and my finger is ready to shoot.
