I use the 1 min Oanda chart for entries and the "long" term 15 minute chart for intra-session direction.

how do you use a one min chart for entry....what do u look out for to make you enter..my entry is usually d problem

wow 1.3810 has already been reached....amazing....i have entered a position ONLY because i made good profit on the last move down...it is a gamble though and do not advise anyone to enter until the bill result is known...we could see 1.3882 again before then

as i have said before the current chanel is 1.3882 (previous low weeks ago) to the current low..lets say 1.3700....that 1.3882 represents the upper wall and a true break of it suggests a bull run to come

I've been scalping today...

Can't get any long moves so it seems to work..

However.. I just made a big mistake.. I meant to set my stop loss to 10.. but somehow i set my buy to 10 lots..

Argg..

Got away with it.. but you can bet i didn't hold onto it long when it went into profit...

Still smiling.. but only just.. phew

This happens to anyone else? or is it just me?

The other day i was watching the price action and jumped in with a long.. right at the best point.. the price shot up.. but my total .. went the other way..

I hit the short button..

Anyway..

I definitely have done that before - but no bad results yet. Also I have been scalping - scary but winning by a little.

Thanks psiholog. one more question, what do you think will happen when the bail out bill is approved? i ask because the obvious is just not making sense anymore. the USD unemployment number is shit and the USD sky rockets, WTH!!.
oh one more thing. i bought a couple of things at the 1.3750 level. if the euro gows down to 1.35 do you think we will see 1.3750 again? will there be a retracement eventually? i mean this bitch has gone down 1000 points already WTF!! i thought markets do move in a straight line!!?

.... sorry not to show all, but there are secrets to keep!

As you can see my 15min chart has two lines, most important is the blue one, price cannot close below that line more than once, red line is based in more recent trend. I am long 1.3703 the red line touched!

H4 chart has a line that first candle must close near the line as it did then with 15min help I see the low bottom for other candle, see 15min chart and you see a retest of the blue line at 1.3717, did not cross, all this with the price action and my feeling of a correction set my trigger for a long.
Now must see a break of 1.3818.
If price return back to 1.3700 I will BE.

I hope now that everyone sees how I trade, see that I am no magician or wizard!

If this bull enter the 1HR channel of the bear flag it breaks out earlier....I think it is a very strong signal that the bull are back in controll. Ofcourse the 1.3882 or above 1.39 would be huge confirmation.

it is anyones guess what will happen. i suggest you look at the post italiansharp made yesterday...it explains in great detail much better then i can do. i do have a bearish bias though because america struggling means the whole world is struggling which does not benefit anyone so in my opinion the bailout plan as dictated by recent price action will help the dollar. as far as your positions long...i highly recommend you close them as soon as you can afford to as what happens next is highly unknown

Sidenote:as indotrader restated earlier...all economic data out of the us good or bad BENEFITS the dollar because there is only one issue at hand now the bailout plan, and the negative data especially supports how much the plan is needed

ok last time the bill didn't pass and the dollar got stronger and stronger and the stock market shot down. now if it does pass what does that me? the dollar will get way weaker? someone please give me some insight.
