WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A group of Republicans in the House of Representatives said on Thursday they would seek an amendment to significantly reduce the size of a $700 billion Wall Street bailout package headed for a House vote soon.
Ohio Rep. Steven LaTourette said 23 Republican lawmakers will seek an amendment that would lower the amount the Treasury Department could spend on the bailout to $250 billion.

That would have to go back to the Senate for another vote. The only thing that can be passed tomorrow for the President to sign is the exact bill that the Senate has already passed.

Yep, exactly. It's best to be flat tomorrow! With NFP and this (not to mention it being a Friday) only the very very brave would be in a position.

I hope new traders looking here will take that advice. I will watch the market tomorrow..and after both NFP and the vote I may take a small postion if and only if: 1) Senate bill passes for President's Signature and 2) NFP is better than expected. This combo would accelerate the USD recovery and continue this recent down trend. There are 3 other potential outcomes to tomorrows fireworks, but deciding on how the market would react to them is over my head.

I'm sure you are a very intelligent person. I hope your position size is a small one. I am not saying that it will happen, but there have been times when stops are not honored. Platforms freeze up, you get kicked out of the system, and violent moves can wipe out accounts. I realize the risk of this is low, but it has happened to me before. All the best to you.

Don't fret it too much PipGal. Just don't try holding too long. You'll be fine. We will survive it. The profligacy in the House may yet drag on. But at least there's volatility.

NPR reporting that they have actually/or are trying to increase Bill amount to 800 Billion to have breathing room. Just heard it 30 min ago

Do not worry to much for open Shorts until this channel line isn't broken
You can see, that dangerous price was 1.3838,,,,,,now it is 1.3822,,,,,every 15 min, Stops you can move 1-2 pip lower.

Stop size is key. Yes, you figured me out. I sometimes am amazed how far you can take a 10 cent pip. I also find that the education goes on even when only small amounts are risked.

You right 100%, if you just try now to ENTER something Big, it's very bad thinking.
Even tomorow if you are in 200-300 pips profit open positions, beafor NFP ,,,protect your profit.
Now all our trading is affect buy this event.
