I feel like it's time to go long...
Simple Trading Method with trader101
Hello everyone!
First of all - Julius - thank you once again - you heard that alot - but this thread is one of the coolest things I came across in FX.
2. really - it does seem like this system is just a beginning of something big and cool - i've taken 2 shorts and 1 long today - and i'm banking 200 pips each trade - totalling 600 pips. I'm 100% sure that no matter which way you go - sell or buy - very soon you will get at least +50 or +100 pips. hopefully - and actually - while i was thinking abot this - Julius already wrote about the second and third part of his system - which we hopefully will get to know soon if Julius would be so generous
3. bucket shops - i wander if people will start making 200-300 pips a day - and they will start loosing money big time - can't they do something to prevent our system from working? i hope not - but hey - i'm sure there will always be thousands of other traders - i would say not traders but people who basically gamble on FX thinking they are CURRENCY TRADERS who will make sure that we get our 300-400 pips a day!
4. if this thread is alive with the same passion and success in a month - i think not only many people will become RICH! but i think we should do our first OFFLINE meeting of Trader101 followers somewhere in Hawaii and celebrate and relax after all these days of hard working fine-tuning the indicators, programming, testing, opening countless demo accounts etc., asking stupid questions on this thread etc, etc

Next time you open a thread with such a great idea you should open three threats at once, one for the FAQ and trouble-shooting, another one for indicator development and one for the basic system! This way you could stay away from stupid questions and the basic system threat would not be messed up...

Hey, I just wanted to say THANK YOU JULIUS for this great thread, it has teached me a lot.
I understand that you are burnt, this happens a lot in this open forums (annoying questions that just doesn't stop), people just see the results and wants a handout of the system, it really sucks!
Maybe if you go private you can go on with the development of the method without the annoying questions. If you do so, count me in.

I've implemented all Julius's suggestions, I hope he hears me.
This is new version of T101 indicator (not EA!!!).
What's new:
- now any pairs are traded. You coulld even try to enter not 14 pairs, but less (not tested).
- rid of that suffix parameter, now for IBFX mini enter EURUSDm (example) in the correspondent currency field.
- made statistics for month, two weeks, last week, this week, day, 4h, 1h
- implemented Julius's trend qualification from Profit_calc (weak, strong...). Took a while to figure out.
- remove Grid from your chart for better visibility
- you are expected not to ask silly questions
- remember, your Profit_Calc shows trend direction depending WHEN you open your IA. This indicator shows you trends as you'd open new IA hour, 4h, day, etc ago....
