nice to read back from you acumen i have been trying to catch you on here. I just got back into forex after loosing close to 2,000 dollars earlier this year. Dont know if you got useful tips and advise for me.

thought i could help, because i saw some messages from some members of the forum, asking for news and data, and where they can achieve that.
so, there's a free news service on the IRC, Othernet server, called #NewsRoom. the founder of this site called "NewzNZ", and I'm one of the ops there too. we provide free data service from Reuters, Dow Jones, AP, MarketWatch, news minute by minute, as they happen. between 170-200 users enter this channel everyday to be up to date. its a non-profit service.
another way to enter the channel, by entering through the Java applet on http://www.inewsroom.net

We are at a very crucial place at the moment. If this bounces up from this support area, it's higher low [edit: on longer term view, see weekly]. If not, then we might see lower values.

i made some losses today.that is really shocking. where can i get to learn about pivot points?
secondly,will there be a retrace? where will the retrace possibly start?

Wow where is the bottom? I got out above 4135 and haven't reenter.....thinking there maybe some retracement. But it doesn't look like it. BTW, has anyone here thought of a Trading Room???

who has an idea where this pair is headed now. whats the next TP?
where can i possibly enter and enjoy the ride.hopefully i can make my money back

it seems as if the U.S. isn't the only one in a bailout situation. And yes... I think a trading room would be a good idea. However, This forum pretty much is a trading room... lots of posts.

There's a lot of volatility left in the environment.

Remember... this pair often trades in 30 PIPS bursts.

Like the current bounce off .4150 to .4180.

Lots of opportunity here BUT lots of volatility also.

I expect some kind of bounce from 1.4, that is also my tp. I'll short more after it bounces up.

edit: didn't reach the 1.4, might bounce up from here.. Not a good time to short.

Long term trend line (monthly) from 0.8570 is near 1.3925. If that gives way then I would forget about a double bottom @ 1.39 and start thinking about a classic A-B-C EW correction wave from the top near 1.60. That would make this wave C, and where it might end would be better left to an EW expert, which I am not. Any EW guys out there that would care to comment on where a C wave might end?
