Hi Julius and all eager pipsters
I had a real dejavu when I saw this thread - I had a similar idea a few years back, but didn't have the skills to test it - I was trying to use excel to create the comparisons, and it was just too labour intensive and so I shelved the idea.
At last I have a chance to find out if this really works!

Now we have some great indicators (even though they're kinda work in progress) and they have been able to answer some questions I had about the length of timeframe used for comparing the basket to current prices. If you look at my screen shots, you'll see that I have set Orests version at both last night and the previous night (Julius's IA start time) and the 3 weeks prior to that - Julius's IA time clearly shows the sells at the top, the later one shows the buys on top.

I also set TC's new indi to just last 4 hrs and his clearly said BUY.
So I bought all and raced to +400 pips in no time at all. (Total pips +1900 in 36hrs (+1500 in shorts))

I predict that the decision to trade or not is gonna be the next week long saga ..........

If this doesn't step on Julius's toes, I would love to see Orests version completed as it saves on all the exporting to excel malarky.

base on my ea (preliminary), LONGs are moving up and SHORTs are moving down. Will confirm later.
If everyone believes it, it will work.
Went short a while ago, got stop out by manual profit lock level 3. Total pips : +200

I went short because all price seems to went up but all position remain still.

Attach is my current IA.

Looking forward to go short again before Bush speaks.

I’m try multipair RSI timing- comparing with ProfitCalc.
Looks RSI are responds v. early M30 and 1H almost all green, when 4H chart change to green and profitCalc show Long I’m jump for Long . At the moment forex is ranging and direction can be long or short.

Weird, my profit Cal didn't show long at all, not even neutral. Both my IA (old and new) shows the same thing. It always shows short strong. I think in order to go long :

(1) Profit Cal shows from neutral for a while than go to long
(2) One of the top or btm anchor got replace by the opposite side (in this case, top anchor replace by a buy OR btm anchor replace by a sell)
(3) RSI not dark green (don't buy when it is highly overbrought)

It is not safe to trade when ONLY profit cal shows long and nothing else becoz the long might be a retrenchment. Correct me if I am wrong. Thnx

This is really an exciting thread and its getting bigger everyday..
I need help can sombody direct me to the Orest Indicator.. This house is big that i got lost in my own house. HELP.. very embarassing

nope just one, preferably gbpjpy.
1st trade long got stoppped by profit protect at +100

re-entered went very negative (-500ish) recovering now to-300

I guess I was early...
Hehe. Me too - can't find it anywhere. I thought I downloaded everything on offer as I went, but I missed this one.

hey es, i suppose that can be done, only thing im not experienced with is these arrays, once t101's confirmed were to the strategy, i might need help from other coders to get more advanced, i just woke up n theres 7eral pages, iml drink some coffee n catch up lol

Any how I have a request. Me, and may be others here as well, may want to try trading some of the individual pairs when they move as mentioned in initiall part of 101,s posting. Is there any way you can programme it to show the currencies that move out of their slot and also suggest to go long or short.

It appears that T101's IA account open is Sunday at 23:00. The FxPro broker server appears to be set at +2GMT. If I'm correct this would equal 21:00 GMT. Matching the open time between different broker platforms does get confusing as servers are set at different time zones.

Very embarassing. Lost in his own house, Thanks Jim, like you im more of an excel guy, let see if we can modify/ tweak this indic, hope Orest will not flame me for attempting to do this.

Are there new rules for the pairs we have to sell and those we have to buy since the first post ? Because I noticed in the Orest indicator that the eurusd for example is sold instead of bought...?
Since my last post last night, I went long before I went to bed. Woke up this morning and I'm up 1100 pips. I changed my reference day to yesterday, and the longs have taken over. What a difference a day makes.
