Algirdas, You shouldn't have pulled your 14800 chart prediction when it went south for that little trip. 14800 is reality one would think with that kind of news.

I think its gathering a momentum and will explode most likely UP. Investors are probably left mouth open with those numbers, they are too numb to click "buy EUR"
They think they are smarter than I am.

But then I always keep SunTrader's tagline in mind....trade the reaction, not the news....very well-said.

i am currently short with stop loss just above 1.4750....triple post...i urge people who are long to consider a tight stop loss....possibly at 1.4695

short at your own discretion...i consider it a gamble...i just didnt want anyone to be fooled by the bad data thats all

after this very weird price action this last 3 days, i am starting to make-up my mind of what could be behind all this:

it is no new news that U.S. is in the hole -for now-...

it is no new news that Congress will aprove the bail-out (maybe not as it is on paper, but will be approved)...

but...

what could be kind of new is "how will the other economies besides the U.S. will handle and will be affected by this crisis"...

so...

i think what will move the eur/usd at least is gonna be how will the E.U will handle and be affected by this crisis... -lets remember that only the U.S. and U.K. have taken measures to deal with this... almost anyother economies are just "sitting on hands"-

that is the only explaination i have after seeing this very bad news and the usd holding really well...

all this meaning that the usd is becoming a safe-heaven -again- DESPITE OF the U.S. economy was the starter of this mess...

what you all think about this?

i dont expect the current channel to be broken so i set it at at 1.4655...as i show in the chart the uptrend line which began at the most recent low has not been broken yet...could be a big drop....but it could always go up as well
