If news does come out and send this pair over the edge, what are some possible targets that we may be looking at? Any ideas?

gambling with a short on this news hehe...anyways targets are as follows...posting two charts...first shows possible retracement to 50% or 61.8% as good candidates

second chart shows a possible retest of the upper wall which was broken out of yesterday. an ascending triangle which took 2weeks or so to form
this retest point also coincides with 61.8% retracement from yesterdays low to high

Thanks. I had my last short target at 1.4650 before that 20 pip bar caused me to close out my trade. Good luck with your short. I'm uncertain of the market right now after such good news, so I'm sitting on the side.

You are talking about a 50% retracement from the move UP, right psiholog? Not 4957 ?

I see 4664, 4616 (50%, 61%)
Below 4692 pivot is 4517

fibs based on yesterdays low to high in my opinion the markets are moving so fast these days (yesterday the euros biggest gain ever in one day) that only whats current matters...even though they may coincide with longer timeframes


as far as my trade it is what it is...a gamble no regrets

hi guys.

nice retrace already happened & the trend will back to
rule the price direction.

here is my chart describe trend direction as everyone know the trend are down big time.


i posted here the daily and weekly chart and we all know how the weekly chart is powerful to anticipate the trend direction.
and as you see no sign of trend reversal all my charts screeming (SHORT) from time ago.
& every time a retrace happen the price fall again like a rock.
so only to be in the safe side i have to trade with the trend .


the red arrows in my posts describe my forecasting targets
have a good trade parteners.

If you look at some of the dollar pairs (like USD/ JPY), and as 5ysfx pointed out in his blog, we have a double bottom on USD/ Chinese Yuan, the 4H chart indicators show dollar as being near bottom against some majors. For USD/ JPY , which is what I like to follow, it bounced off bottom twice at 105.15, and is now in a nice upward trend.

This indicates to me that dollar strenght is improving and will continue to improve against all majors

Of course a big spike in oil can change all that!

i m long 0.5 lot from 1.4725 with stop at break even now.. whats your target at ???
it is sitting at 0.786 of wave down from 1.4811-1.4669
