we had a previous low @1.2910 to a high of 1.3047=137 pips add that to the last low @1.3092= 1.3229 there is also resitance right there on the weekly chart I'm thinking that would be a good place to short when we get there

Good morning. Here are today's daily levels.

Looks like options players are driving us to and from the 32 and 31 handles. If price continues to move down, I would establish a long at 3063 or just below. On the upside, resolution of the 3062 area and a move up from here would target 3262. A move below 3063 and settling below here, then I would cover my longs.

long from 1.2970...looking to get out at 1.3190.your analysis is comforting but i'm looking to get out sooner if there is any sign of shorter term weakness on a daily chart. DownRiverTrader, out of curiosity typically how long do you hang onto trades?i hold on for a few hour to a few days on average.

hey good call by the way! glad you made some nice pips since I didn't have a position I was rooting for you all the way I wanted to short right there also but I it looked like it wanted to go a little higher so I played it conservitive I dislike drawdowns but thats just me

hahaha...i wish i was limited out. the highest the bid price went with my market maker came within 2 PIPs so far today.i may end up closing the trade at 5 PM EST today depending on how it looks at the time. we'll see what happens. :-)

This week has seen lower than normal daily movement.
Euro/USD has been basically in a sideways channel since
London exchange opened today.

Any thoughts on tomorrow and its significant news
related to this pair?

I have a relatively bearish bias on the eur/usd after todays failure to close above the trendline and the pin bar formation. Only problem is the bids in 3130 defending the stops below, but it's forming a nice descending triangle. Does anyone else share this view?
Always wait for the opportune moment… just be careful not to miss it.

I trade all time frames. So I have had some trades on for many weeks, months. I don't discuss them here.

For the short term methodology that I am posting here....the answer is that I hold a trade until the value level tells me to get out. Sometimes it is a few minutes, normally a couple sessions but when consolidation is occurring I may hold the trade for the week.

I don't care how long or how short of a period it takes. Not really important to me.

Since Eur has not yet reach 1.3000, so ur price will a bit delay Mr. President.. But Eur seem's already in bearish mode...unless there's unexpected news from your house.....

I do agree to a part of it,but still how low would it go,I think it wont breach the 1.3120/10 & bounce anytime there,if it breaks support @1.3090/80 then would free fall to 1.3060/50 .

The 1.3138/09 is too thick at the moment for the spot,and a clear cut breakthrough/close @ 70s remains needed.

Here are the Wednesday trading levels.

The scenario remains the same for me on this one. I am currently long. I will stay long unless we settle below the 3063 level. If we do move down to 3063, new traders can establish longs here and target 3162 and 3262. A move below the Transistion area means lower levels are most likely. If we move above 3162, short term traders can take profit on a push through the 3262 area.

Where do you plot this 'transition area'?

I trade using De Mark & Mouteki trend line. Sometimes I got it right sometimes I dont. Yesterday, I got nice 45pips but it did not reach targerted TP.

So today I'll wait for it to break the TL in my chart. Still unable to tell.
