I hear you Psiholog. Ordinarily, I'd be jumping up and down to go to 4450 with you (and I see your logic), but I've got a short to 4085 or 4060 hanging on, and except for the rates statement yet to come, this feels like one of those lazy old days where a new daily low gets set at about 1730EDT.

My two cents (which ain't worth two cents).

1.4085 still very possible...it would just tap the trendline for the second shoulder on the 4h chart, it could manifest itself in the form of a spike(or true break)....good luck

Edit: Careful with your stop loss though...if 50% gets broken (1.4184)....id really consider closing position..notice that descending triangle i drew just broke up

Sucking is ok.

If the fed cuts the EURO should move up. (They won't)

If the fed stays flat the dollar should move up. (This is what they will do)

If the fed raises rates the dollar will move up. (Not in this environment)

Just a little hint regarding FOMC. Has anyone thought about risk/reward ratio of different outcomes?

If FED lowers rate what happens to EURUSD, if FED keeps the rate the same what happens?

And then think should you be long, short or flat before announcement

I made a small buy here, going to leave it for a while and see what happens. Shouldn't be droping much anyway, below previous low, even if the channel doesn't work, I hope.
