I feel more secure and comfortable to trade with exchange regulated brokers/instruments like Globex. They don't use Meta Trader platform. Usually they have their own interfaces. I hope someone can code this in OpenQuant (http://www.smartquant.com), which has the interfaces to some major brokers.

I know is still 10 MIN to go but most of the USD pair have got a IB to come,
looks like a big moove is comming?

Hi Hervé!

Yes, it maybe and it looks like we are getting second IBs on row too. Too bad I have to leave in 20 mins so I can't really monitor that and I'm leaving on Monday for a week holiday trip anyway so maybe it's best to leave all the pips for you guys

I closed my EURUSD shorts this morning at 1.4050 and banked 455 pips in two remaining positions, this week is up about 500 pips.

great trades, finnfx. This is my dream as well, like Peter Crowns said: if you trade with the trend, the positions you can accumulate over a few weeks can be tremedous.

I think the wind is starting to blow north from next week, therefore I am happy I jumped in today with those great IBs for EU, GU and GY, which I am still riding now. The pound and pound yen are already 200+ in profit on the free-trade lot I think today was the first US session in a long time when the dollar was sold against euro and pound, and this might signal a shift in sentiment. Or maybe its just profit taking.
However, if this is indeed a reversal to the north, next week might bring some new and very profitable DIBS trades. I will try to hold the current ones as long as I can. Any advice for trailing a DIBS trade? PC mentioned something about a 20 sma, I reckon.

DIBS is a great method, no doubt, my limitation is that i am not always around to see the dibs form.The few times i traded with dibs, its been 100%.Peter crown warned us about being greedy, so i try to get my 5% max, though he recommends 2%.

mY greates challenge is staying disciplined to the rules,i need to master this.

As trailing ur profits..well..dont know much..

EUR/GBP sell @ 0.79562 and a stop @ 0.79881.I havnt allowed for the spread can anybody tell me where i should have put the sell and the stop.

Demo,
On my chart the 5 gmt inside bar's high is 7987 and the low is 7958. Therefore if I had taken the short it would have been at 7957 and the stop loss placed at 7991 taking the 3 pip spread into account. Half would be taken off at 7923 to lock in a free trade. Hope this helps.

i missed that one as well. actually it was the only good dibs today. Ironically the days I miss are really good for DIBS trading Today I watched the trading range of the euro which was 400 pips while usd/chf was only 220. Remember trading the Hot Hand? Now I got what PC meant with it. Euro made some nice move today, too bad there werent any DIBS trades with it.

one more advantage of DIBS... in these times of crazy volatility, for me its really risky to use other strategies due to wide stops, especially since I trade the daily. Therefore once again I find DIBS as a great low risk method to enter the market in the right direction and catch the big wave. looking forward for tomorrow.

That's not a BuOB. The low is not low enough. Its is a 2 hour Pin Bar.

Note: Two ib's actually. One from earlier then the recent one. Even though I didn't realize I was taking one at the first instance... hehe. Sorry for the chart clutter.

BUllish Outside Bar is a Price Action formation. BUOB, depending on its location, indicates a bullish direction of Price.
