I live in Europe mainland (Central Europe Time, CET) but all my trading charts are referenced to EST.

What I meant before I left was what is shown on the picture below. But take note that on 15M chart "which is scalping for me" price has broken through the 55 EMA and 200 EMA which was acting as a tunnel during the Asian session. On the 1H chart on the other hand price is trading above 55 EMA is still not good evidence that we're going up but worth the risk.

i had just plotted on my chart a new wider down trending channel, connecting highs of 08/09 and todays current high.

this is not yet final as we are still to see what come next. 1.4100 may offer
stiff resistance coupled with 100SMA (1H)

we shall see....

Oh bro I would like to give you a better message, but things changed, middle of the day my time there was a H$S that was in play, another thing that made me to go long was a pan or however that is called in english (it's a round thingy) in 4H line chart, both are reversal pattern and they have been very clear to see.
I have a strange feeling that we are in a middle strong retracement.
I hope you tigned the seatbelt.

BTW, I don't want to say close your shorts, you are the only one that knows, be sure that your MM allows you to trade your call!!!

wow how wonderful it is to have a speculation in forex and then you come the next day seeing that you speculations were all right and then when you set your take profit even so high, the market still hits all of it.

I am with you & let the anticipated spikes Up Up till break again to have more more shorts to work.
No the news were bad enough for few hundreds retracents instantly but it did not and time to react & stil not over .

just copy pasting my own post quotes elsewhere early in the morning "

That is a great feeling indeed.

That's why I prefer longer term trades.

Still, today I'm trying my hand at scalping I made $2.00 5 minutes ago on a long
edit: just made another $5, so $7 total! Not bad for 10 minutes!

Commodities are in positive today. Stocks too.

I holded one long position on EUR/USD yesterday and closed it before Tokio session.
Now I see that this morning I had also good opportunity to enter again that I missed.
Now the EUR could go up above 1.41 but for me it is to late to enter now.

The NY session have scheduled some important news.
Probably there could be some movement.

I am now on the sideline and watch.
I am little bearish biased for the NY session.

not necessarily...its not even close to breaking upper trendline of the downward move that started at 1.48...well see if it breaks 1.4225...only then maybe
