my big play for tonight is this...it just broke the lower wall....if it holds..i will wait until it reaches 1.3975...if it is acting as a strong support...i will buy and hold position for 100+pips, if its broken...i wont do anything as i find short very risky today just like yesterday


Edit:there is also a secret i discovered a short while ago......its very USEFUL....it applies to 5min chart mainly. when 2 candlesticks have a gap....like the ones now on the 5min chart....shadow or not...those gaps get filled most of the time

Anyone else noticed that yesterday D1 was a pin bar?

Here's my 2 pips before knocking off.

Earlier asian rally failed at the R1 4030level (orange) and the light yellow bear TL, but also failed to collapse back below a good S/R level at 3080 (bright blue horizontal line) and the red Bull TL.

I'm biased towards continued up pressure for the frankenstein and london sessions, but wouldn't rule out a bearish headfake first.

The complications here are several... a gulf hurricane with some potential short term oil influence (not a big deal imo), some medium impact euro news and alot of high impact USD news in the morning.

So the other option is it could keep sliding sideways thru the TL's at current levels w/o really going anywhere till news, and then it's Friday which is no help at all.

My plan... I have a limit buy at 3986 (bottom of potential bull flag in the making) with a medium tight stop below the 3972 level (current session low). Target is a nice high 4120 (a fib level) to make it worthwhile with a trailing stop to catch it if it stalls out first a'rd M3 or above.

This trade is based on the assumption that a whole lot of pips won't cost me much to see if I'm right. The R/R is pretty high with a possible 144 vs 20-30 pip loss.

If it headfakes north and then turns and goes south (red arrow), then I 'm out and no trades that direction on the table.

Thats the plan, and I'm going to bed. Safe trades all.

I'm long from 4005, already moved stop to breakeven at 4020. Just testing, this might go up today and if it will start going up, weekly volatility has been so big that it might go up fast.

As of this writting, why is EU not rising like GU has in the last few hrs?. Also GU, and UJ are moving up at the same pace,..im not used to them moving together like this, and I'm not sure which one to short. GU might seem like the obvious answer, but im just waiting for that strong bounce any day now.

EU Meeting resistance......1.41 in sight??

Lets see if it breaks the trendline, USD is so oversold and bad bews coming.
Kind of relived by myself, was already on minus couple of thousands, now took some nice profit in 1.4050 with longs

I would wait to see if it could break clearly 1.41 ....

hmmm bro.. my current plan now is to play long term.. so my short positions.

1.4184 and 1.3960 are all SL @ 1.42

so i am just holding out.. but am really surprised what is causing this long as after all, the news wasnt that bad...

both sides had their fair share of bad news... unless lots of traders are longing in anticipation of the apparently bad retail sales for US news later...

then i may be one of the most unlucky boat around! shorting at the end of the medium trend sigh
