the storm is over.to all my 9ja pple,i hope the storm did not get to u.well i saw the reversal so i ran out and entered at the peak of the storm.guess what 200pips just in a day,i;ll be a billionier if i continue like this

The way the hourly is shaping up we could be starting another drop with target below 1.4.. But still too early to tell with reasonable certainty.

Donno.. But you don't have to trade every move you see, it was a fairly easy formation on 15m-5m charts of the past several hours - a high and then a prolonged lower ranging that fails to break higher and then a drop. If you took the drop then you should've taken profit or used a tsl and the sudden rise is no worries. The rise itself was counter-trend and relatively big and fast which made for an easy small short as it rebounded from the daily pivot (136, though it did overshoot it by 11 pips first), or a larger range short if you feel more lucky. This is not crazy, these are recongnizable price patterns, that indicators would also show you to some extent, and good opportunities.

Sell @ 1.4115 (was actually a SellStop that took effect)
SL @ 1.4145 (up above intra-day TL), with TSL=25
TP @ 1.4050 (which is just above 3-day low)

Curious to know if I'm "in the ballpark". Trading on demo.

as for my speculations now i think the market is in a consolidation stage base on the volatility of the market.
advise to stay out and see what the U s session opens the we can know what they have to offer.

Take a look at the market now. Price is returning to the levels it was at before the news releases. News and oil is driving this market. Wait until the market digests the Lehman news. 1.4140 is REAL close to your planned stop loss.

Just got stopped out. Obviously too risky a trade. Gotta learn to let the market settle.
