I do not have an average daily count, depends on what the market gives, the past 2 days have been prime scalping territory and very unusual results to say the least.
average monthly return has been just over 30% in that time. I tried long term, weekly, monthly and daily but scalping gets the blood pumping and is a high all its own when you have a fast moving market

I must admit, it's really frustrating to see that happen and im really really mad when that happen during my early years of trading. Then you will realized the market reverse and hit your SL

Actually I agree that people talk a lot of s**t in this forum. I have been reading this forum for some time and rarely post since I realized that most people in this form have less than 5K of real money in their account. Many only trade demo accounts. A lot of people get it in their mind that they have found the way to successful trading. They post and boast about their ability to read the market. Then one day silence. No more posts.

At any rate I use the forums to gain an understanding of general thinking. I’ve also found that more often than not a person with 30 posts or less is a great guide to what not to do.

I think scalping is the only way to beat this market IMHO and thats basically all I have done for over 4 yrs now fulltime. Record is 199 in a row and counting as I type this. Yes it can be done and profitably over the long haul, it requires patience and sometimes long hours but the results are worth it.
the statement does not allow for partial pip trades so it does not tell 199 in a row but count them, I like this account for scalping because of the fractional pip possibility it give me. Dukascopy is faster and I use both.

I can't scalp to save my life! I've tried though. I'm probably one of the longer term traders in this thread though. My average trade time is over 5 days.
Anyone who thinks scalping is a walk through the park probably has not scalped successfully for more than a year.

Yes my friend did 200% in 3-4 months, on a 30k account during the spring of this year. Mostly scalping in the asian session. There is averaging down. Thus at times there is actually NEGATIVE pips, but monetary profit.

For reference he has more than 5years trading, and with respect to him has blown out a few accounts early in his education.
With this specific style money management is critical. He has had 10% draw down a couple of times.

I don't scalp it's not my preferred method.
I prefer spot going for 15plus pips or break even. At most I average down 1x.
