Any idea why the buck has got lots and lots of steam even when fundamentals totaly are against it ? Maby I missed some news lately , cant get into my head what the hell is going on :|

Could it be because the USA is one of the most politically stable countries in the world with the most dynamic and free market on the planet? The Fannie/Freddie takeover worries me though--a step towards a ruinous socialist future? I don't want the USA to become like Europe.

As much as I agree that the US dollar is to get stronger over the next few months...I wonder what will happen if it ends up being the case that the fannie and fred need to write off 1 trillion dollars?--it would send the world into a global recession.

Who knows what will happen, but either way I'm going to follow the trend and currently that bigger trend is heading South for the EUR/USD.

The comment may anger some but it's right on the money.

One great example is the gas tax in England.

About three quarters is tax - used to pay for a failed socialist heath care program.

I have been wondering the same thing. The reason why the banks were taken over was that they had "overstated" their capital. Sounds really, really bad to me.
