i feel bad for all those ppl who lost alot of money being short on the huge gap when market opened...they could have made it all back almost....does me feeling bad make me weak?

Very simple, trade in the direction of the friday close, or whatever the other side of the gap is.
The flip side of your question is that while you are taking adavantage of the gap, the gap may be taking advantage of you...
Example, look at Gbp/Jpy from last week 8/29 close to 8/31 open...

I'll stick to guessing 1.4050, but who cares, I got 150+ pips in the green and tracking it at 30-40 pips. Plus some heavier leverage small scalps on the way.

I am long for 10pips. And yes I know it looks crazy. As I mentioned before I'm playing around some analysis with both Oil and Gold etc.
