Perhaps the thinking is that supplies were low because they were dumped into the pool to help regulate gas prices and bring them lower as well as be supportive of the shutdown in the offshore rigs due to Gustav. So there really isn't a shortage so much as the oil was used to help the citizens. Just conjecture, an opinion and everyone has one.

Not so much a dollar move... All Yen crosses mate..
Rumour has it large player bought Yen and sold the world..
Yen had been suffering on the back of strong oil price.. Now Oil is coming lower perhaps some cross unwinding of short Yen positions.
As I said before the world's a sad place when you look around and the only thing left to buy is Yen.

hi all,

after a month of constant battling, i am really tired..

i am no good with entries and exit at the moment but i want the action.. hence i took a bold move..

with my 189USD left, i decide to go with the current long term trend..

i shorted E/U and G/J

was debating hard about the pip sizes.. was tempted to dump in more.. but i remembered my bros from this thread.. the constant encouragement and warnings on NOT to risk too much...

i settled on 0.2 pips. total of 0.4 pip risk.

e/u 1.4255
g/j 187.43


i intend to hold this for weeks perhaps.. and no SL and TP set now.. what do you all think about this..

i really hope this will be my ticket back to my capital of total 1000usd...

experienced bros.. am i getting myself into deep shit here?

In my opinion, you're still risking a lot.
I only risk .1 if my equity is 10k .
And G/J, you know that's a monster pair, a mere correction and you will face mr. margin again.

well .. im no better than you but i think that you've taken these pairs at a critical levels where there could be a change in the direction, and a break down might be your ticket, tomorrow's releases will give a sign for whether the usd buying party is over or no
I recommend you read something else as this sentence is now concluded.

do you see things that i dont? it might be at a support level but it tried to bounce and failed

If USD/CHF goes up-- wow!! 1.1200 (I'm a little more conservative, as I haven't looked at this pair too much--tp at 1.1160, since I have an s/r line at 1.1170)--isn't it likely that EUR/USD will do the opposite, and go down?

well fortunately i remembered the teachings here.. i was thinking of placing a 0.5pip on the G/J earlier.. which will bring me close to Mr Margin real fast i think..

i am at a -70 pip loss now for it.. lucky it is 0.2 only.

My rationale is from the daily candles.. for the last month.. almost 80% is red days

dude things change day to day, the whole point of intraday trading is just trading the trend within that day. and lets assume there is a reversal in the near future (possibly even now). it will be violent it will be sudden and it will be fast
