Hello Mr Toshchakov,

It's me again...

The spotted divergence on monthly indicates price is going up. No doubt. Initial target would be 1.3237.

Apart from that I might be observing a divergence, Do the lines in green form a diamond?

*** Maybe I am starting to learn the alphabet and some day will be able to write my name accordingly!!! ***.

Please, come back to Aediaz thread more often. We can really use your insights.

Also, if you wouldn't mind me sending you a private message, I would really like to ask some questions in private.

1. I have already mentioned about those divergences on most of the majors a few million times.
2. Green lines form nothing.
3. Hopefully.

as I was watching the 4hr ascending channel on USDX I noticed a possible bearish divergence targeting 76.00 Do you observe the same?

Igrok,

I originally read your book shortly after release. I have recently re-read it and could not help but notice that you seem to purposely not go into detail about timing and cycles.


Have you publically shared/published additional aspects of your knowledge on this subject?

Most of the book's material was written about 10 years ago. I purposely simplified it and put in a form of the templates, as I thought that it would be the easiest way for someone without deep market and TA knowledge to deal with the real trading issues on daily basis. Most newbies don't know much neither about TA nor about the market in general and that was the only way to give them the abilty to trade successfully from scratch without blowing their brains out with more complicated issues.
I haven't published anything yet in addition to it except for some more ideas in this thread.

A: It's very simple but not what you might think it is. If intraday "low" has been formed before intraday "high" then the direction of the main move of the day is up. In case the "top" was formed before the "bottom" then it means that the direction of the main move of the day is down. Same on any other time frame.
Based on this quote of yours, is that means your definition of the Main Move is the same as:

1. the next direction of the Swings after it has reached its turning/reversing points (could be more than once if it swings up and down (in a reasonable pips) more than once)? or
2. just the Swing's most extreme point of its High/Low for the day (only once, started from its highest or lowest point)?

Hi aud and thanks for the link.

That quote on my previous post was also based on Igrok's past explanation for other poster, I just wanted to clarify and confirm it from him by those two questions of mine, which one (or both, or none) is valid for my better understanding of his main concept.

Obviously you have been at this quite a while. But I would like to know how you got into forex trading in the first place. Did you trade other markets before trading currencies? It also seem that there are many good Russian traders out there. Does this have something to do with the fact that forex is a bit like chess?

2. I got into forex because I had been looking for the ultimate independence and then found it there. Besides, anyway I had no other choice at that moment.

3. Like I already mentioned in this thread, in Soviet Russia we used to get real education while in the most of other countries people mostly get training instead. The difference between both is that "education" is more about way of thinking while "training" is more about way of acting. That makes Russians more competitive in the fields that are lacking preset rules and manuals and where personal ingenuity must apply. Don't think it has something to do with chess. I'm still a pretty average chess player despite playing it almost every day when get bored with the market's routine.
