the only thing i see is a bounce between the current support and resistance...perfect scalping opportunities...at least until one of those gets broken

There's a larger downtrend channel in play on hourly starting with first two highs of this fall on hourly as I see it. It looks like we should go down again and oil looks like it could fall quite a distance soon as well, but nothing's certain of course.I believe that break of 471 which you can see how it was in plat before and now's it's the daily pivot - will signal a return to bear land for a while. Of course resistance at weekly s2 at 440 is also a factor.

Whats ur longer term view for eu nad oil prices 1.36 and 75$ or lower targets ?
I put oil at 85/barrel early next year.

I put this pair at .4300 by years end.

Again... I only play around with long term analysis for sh#ts and giggles.

i wouldnt put too much emphasis on current candlestick patterns, hourly/whatever, just take a look at 15min chart zoomed out. i see quite a range and you could even say its a head and shoulders with the neckline yet to be broken. or the shoulder to prove this is a false pattern of course

I was just curious about the system you were using.

It seems like a lot of traders on this thread are trading without a system. (ill advised)

Discretionary traders often trade without a system. (Very hard to do at first)

Hi all, I am new to this forum.

So far, based on hourly chart, the pair was not able to close above the MAE55. Think that this could be a very strong resistance. And it seem that the pair is trying to break it. Got to wait and see.....maybe the market is waiting for ECB talks.

I would be SOOOOOOOOOOOO lost without a system. Well... probarly not so lost, but I wouldn't be so relaxed either.

Yes, this is what I am finding, that is why I am in this thread to sort of glean what you all are saying to one another to get an idea of what is going on. I don't take it as advice and make decisions on it, I look at it more as confirmation. I already had shorts in, but I put them a little to early and so when it went North I got nervous.... I am okay now though, in the black on most of them.
