Dislikedi think its so important to do your own homework not just base your decision to enter a trade on the comments of the boardmembers who ever they are...
eg: GBPUSD couple of days ago, 'good time for long' was the message, its dropped 300 pips since...
eg: eurgbp yesterday 'good time for short', look at today's movements, suddenly the candles look very different
eg: gbpjpy this morning... yes Hussin is correct of course on the hammer BUT the BIG BUT is do you have enough in your account to enter the trade now and see it through even if it drops 100 pips?
you must take into account time lines and individual profit targets too which people usually don't declare fully. For example if a boardmember says its great time for short and their target is only 10 pips... you see the 10pip movement but don't think anything of it... they then close their position and the price goes the other way you are left on the sinking ship so its very important, do your own research and take into the equation the comments on this thread BUT they definately should not be taken as gospel because they're not... forex is so unpredictbale... its a game of probabilities and every one in wrong alot of times. The succesful i'm sure are those that ride their wins and cut their losses..
i know, i can't even see the shirt i lost recently :-)
ps: having said all this, this thread is awesome and i'm beginning to love candlestick based tradingIgnored
Hi Naiji
I'm thinking this candle is a good reversal hammer?
Its closed right on an important pivot line.
