I'm not sure I see your point. In my opinion, btcause of GBP weakness, I don't think GJ gap will get filled.

1.8 will be a major support for GBP/USD. It should bounce up a bit, bringing up GBP/JPY a few hundred pips. So I agree, this should also take up USD/JPY, but to a lesser extent.
This will be a good test of how fundamentally driven this currency is. Besides that, a good test of my patience. Keep this event in mind.
