lol! everybody puzzled and hence take safe shorts perhaps but some thing must come , Gustav aftershock still to feel weeklong or more .

the doji on the hourly chart looks nice for a reversal, if 40 is broken and becomes a support again, we may see 1.4700 again today if not higher
then again theres the psychological 50 and 77 where 61.8 fib is...hard day to understand

i'm just completely .. confused. I wasnt expecting the dollar to get stronger, especially with what's coming in from the Caribbean. In any case, i'm completely puzzled.

want to jump into shorts, but i'm wary for this week's news released. sigh, what to do, what to do. Do you think there will still be activity on monday [US Time] even though the market is going to be closed?

The inertia of motion , I mean the huge downtrend set before can't be changed so easily perhaps . even oil is going further down with gold 829$ & oil 115$ level ( not yet but very near ) very soon.
There are so many good news also for USD too :

Stops are there so they can be taken out.

The more people go long the more it will drop.

Now that people are considering shorting it may start moving up.

Good thing I dont trade on sundays, today seems completely out of sync which implies to me that the market is extremely volatile and not logical. So better to stay on the sides since it is labor day weekend!!!!

I'm not liking this range that we are in at the moment (30min time frame). Could this be another day like the last few when all we get is range movement?

I've noticed that psyche levels are much less reliable when we are range bound.

I think at that time, it is approproiate to change strategies into choosing tops and bottoms IF we are definitely within a range.

If you did this today = 118 short entry.

same on YM ( but use 30 min of us markets) = 90 points
same on eurusd ( I use 30 min of us market open) = 60 pips

Hey Mal,

Just finished reading the book you promoted here. I liked it. It gave some support to a lot of the skills I had taken for granted. One question however, since the FX market doesn't have a 10am open, how do we use this system in FX?
