It looks to be in consolidation, moving around the Central Pivot and Daily Pivot. It's been that way for several hours.

If you're scalping.. that's a different story.

id post the ascending triangle i see with top line at 15 and trendline starting at the low of the day but donno how

Where? If being up less than 10% from the bottom formed only 2 days ago is small uptrend, what is wrong with saying very small. <10% I think of as very small.

Tomorrow (in my part of the world is Friday) for some it is already. Monday being a holiday here and on top of it being late August means low volatility.

So if you are expecting a big move, you might want to zoom out and wait till next week.

I made it through Andrew (slept ) and Wilma and many other minor ones over the years. Most people lose theirs lives unrelated to the wind/rain/flooding/etc. Car accidents and falling off roofs doing home repairing and unfortunately the situation in New Orleans with Katrina. Most of which is preventable.

I look at it that we need to rainwater to add to Lake Och.

Hey I agree, spikes are less important. The bodies are where most of the trading and maybe part of the wicks. But in periods of low volume/volatility it doesn't take much to push price out to extremes.

anyone else agree that the last 3 candlesticks on 4 hour chart is usually followed by a continuation downwards? creating a new low

btw i still have my short from 1.4714 even if it breaks up, so all my downward trend talk is just to make me feel better, i can be insecure about my trading, like you all were once

Its a bit tricky, i wouldn't want to put my money on anything yet because Europe and London haven't started their sessions yet. I would want to see the close of this candle and the one following it.

I was caught off guard by last nights move and got my fingers burned.
Bear flag looks pretty classic.
Hours of solid resitance at .416 and steadily reducing support below.
I feel a strong down coming.
