When you setup your trade you shure was thinking where to set your SL, I see strong resistence in about 803, would be worth to have pacience and respect the decicion that you took when you did your trading order.
At least I would do so.

You are correct sir... I don't know everything and often I come across as a smartazz but I know a fabrication when I see one.

Definition:

Tic Volume: number of tics/dog.
you really do not look at charts do you .....

a every time a transaction takes place it is a tick . In forex you cannot measure true volume , like you can in futures or stocks , due to the fact that is a non centralized market. But you can measure up ticks versus down ticks in what ever time period you are in , this provides you with volume bars that are formed from amount of transactions (ticks) that happened in that time period.

In this up trend since yesterday on a 30 min chart the there were a lot more transactions happening on the up moves then the down moves , shown by the volume being higher on the up move than on the bull flags. When you see this in tradeguider you know the trend is going to continue as it means there is no selling pressure.

But hey I do not know why I am telling you all this because to you this is all rubbish and I am full of shit and indicators are waste of time to you.

OK, question for the pros. It's 1am EST and I am terribly sleepy. Would it be crazy to put in a short at 48 (considering all RSIs on 30M, 60M, 4H are almost at their peak), do a tight stop and go to bed?

Yawn.

I look at other pairs too when looking for a peak. USD/JPY nearing good support.

I have volums and tick distribution yoo... with prorealtime.... I don't know how to post a chart in here but if you want to see how it looks like I can send it by e-mail

Don't believe in indicators - they all seem lagging to me.

But like I said before - if it's working - keep using it.

I'm not a fan of tics or ticks.

you do not have to be in the market all the time

we may yet break 1.4780 ..... the stop would be a waste of money ....

the market will always be there and if you miss one trade there is another just around the corner

You are in loss shorting , then you take the position much earler. No worry it will come down soon & if can tolerate keep it & if the price not below 1.4711 you will be green I think today otherwise any other may anyday .
