If it breaks resistance of 4706 expect it to go a tad north, but since oil inventories were bullish EUR, this pair did not go as far south as it would have otherwise gone.

Hope this makes sense.

According to BBC The hurricane has weakened and the danger for it hitting US is smaller now so it's keeping the oil prices lower.
Just a heads up on this I live in Louisiana and the Storm is indeed on track to hit us. They are pulling crews out of the gulf and locking everything down.
This is the path they expect it to take.

The BBC got things wrong. Try CNN. They are not the greatest but at least they are based here.

i took at 14708 LOL and longed at 14710 ( as usual my style, SL200 HAHAHAHA ) planning to get some swaps too

"The Department of Energy just reported that crude oil inventory levels for the week ended Aug. 22 fell 177,000 barrels. Analyst forecast an increase of 1.1 million barrels. Gasoline stockpiles fell 1.2 million barrels. Crude prices were up 1.8% to $118.31 per barrel just prior to the release."

"Crude prices approach session highs and then retreat a bit to a 2.1% gain at $118.79 per barrel. Energy traders are digesting an unexpected decrease in crude oil inventories, while gasoline stockpiles posted a smaller-than-expected decline."

This is why fundamentals can't be trusted. The news was really not THAT bad. Read between the lines and you see that this weeks inventory is only down very slightly from last week and the inventories are actually quite good. Let the expectation drop a little, in conjunction with a hurricane and all that fear is going to make someone a lot of money. I smell a little manipulation. JMHO. Trade what you SEE.

Dude, you basically have no trading setup/plan at all. To be honest, there's not much you can learn here, if not nothing at all if you keep doing it like this. Do yourself a favor and head to Trading System subforum and get some trading system there. Don't use them straight away. Familiarise yourself first with it and learn how to trade with it. It's next to impossible to trade naked if you keep wanting to earn big pips in every single trade without a system/plan.

sold eu at 1.4713 as oil dips below 118..must break through 122 according to floor traders, before the focus shifts higher..

The hurricane season is just beginning, remember that last year they run out of letters with hurricanes. I don't see oil going down at least before the end of hurricane season.
