why would you take a long 22 minutes before a major anouncement. this pair could swing 60-80 pips in both directions right after the news. thus taking out stops on both ends.

Best to let the market digest the news before entering.

Anybody holding short now ? I just close all with profit , perhaps enough for today.

Again within few minutes US FOMC Meeting Minutes, may have some movements again , waiting few minutes before going home

If need do some shorts .

the report doesnt say much .. just every1 voting to keep interest rates at 2% except for 1.. I didn't trade the FOMC, better trade a news report that I know better of =)

Only thing is since I posted that it went as high as 1.4682 and then declined. So next time up to those levels it might break through.

First time back to a resistance zone is always strongest. 2nd/3rd time less so.

Bloomberg has a good piece about the minutes

Basically as the title says, interest rates will be more likely raised than lowered in the future. This (IMHO) will put pressure to business and will probably cause US indices to go south more than they are now. This just validates my current point that it's a good time to short us stock indices.
