Anyone still holding shorts? I see the retrace but this could also be because of the storm in the gulf that influenced oil prices earlier today. I don't see it going past 1.4850 before resume downward trend. Europe is in bad shape and it would take some drastic news for US to reverse current downward trend and head back to 1.50 region.

news out of south America Venezula made oil pop today,

I am watching ej for a drop in the asian session based on Usdjpy weakness

Right where it was Monday and I took 60 pips. I think a little more up before entering, probably around 162.30 or .40

Short from 1.4790. The bounce was partially supported by the better than expected ZEW numbers but I agree that it will be short-lived.

On post # 21307, I said I had a market order @4758

It got hit, pips have been made and locked in. But my trade isn't closed yet.

My SL is now 4768 and my updated TP is 4877.

We won't see .4880 in the next 24 hrs.

It looks like .4800 is well protected.

I see .4700 after the BOE minutes.

Won't be good news.

This little run is about over.

I'm short now 3 positions.

I'll take profit after 20 PIPS on each move.

The bulls are trying everything they can now to keep this little run afloat but it won't work.

i got hit by the long movement yesterday oh well... jay bro, owned pic pls... now my only surviving position is gbp/usd short.. but 30 pips up and i am dead meat.. margin call.. until fresh funds comes in...

guess my way of this is wrong from the start... capital of 200 or so, engaging in $1 pip positions?

I agree with you 100% on this. There is no reason for a 100 pip move up, trend is still pointing down and i'll hold my 2 shorts even though im $1900 out.
