I'm back after a short break - what the heck hit the Loonie? The spike down is incredible - don't see any fundamental new to do that. Any suggestion?

eurusd extremely smells like intervention! definitely. the correlation between eur and gold has not suddenly disappeared. normally gold follows eur, but these times there definitely is some centralbank intervention taking place. i dont really want to stay longer in an eurusd trade than neede. 30 pips is ok ^

Hey doc, I think you are correct - someone is pumping huge amounts of cash into the market to cause these large moves in a lot of the pairs.

And by now it should be a "Free Trade". with NO risk If you closed 1/2 your position at the 1:1 level. Which I think is one of the best parts of this system. I am also in this one @ 1.4906. I think I added 1 or 2 pips to be sure it would actually break, not just touch and ruin the other way.

simple things work best. but that is, of course, tried to be hidden from the retail traders, because they are neede to put fresh new money into the markets

dont be afraid of a retrace and dont be too greedy! trail your stop up to an moving average or place it below the bar low, two bars ago and trail it in that way.

never let the position turn againsst you when it has achieved +20. i always trail my stop to +1 after 20 pips. and then, depending on price action, i put it higher.

Jarroo, my long was taken out after i got 2/3 at BE. But i would add-on at the IB high when it came back You can see it where is yellow ellipse.

But missed 2 times already doing other things

Also, i would add-on small pos.

It is great to see folks taking IB breakouts and having success. I have been minimally demoing and studying and asking for about 6 weeks now which is when I discovered this market. It is time that I begin to look for setups now. Does anyone use FXCM when looking for IB's? I also have an ODL MT4 demo going and I see more using that type of platform however I tend to like FXCM overall.

Well the add-on never came and my first trade stopped out at break even. I did not stop and reverse, it was late in the day. Net pips: 0. But the set-up had potential to be a big gain. Yes, if I took 2/3 off the first trade it would have netted 45 pips on 1/3 position.

did anyone had this price slippage for eur jpy at the open of the new candle?

I am so pissed. I was short from 163.39, DIBS trade, and had the stop at 163.91. everything was going well till I saw that I was stopped out and then the price was back where it was a min before.

IBFX said the price was valid. How can it be valid for the price to gap 90 pips and fall back to the normal level in 2 secs? I believe this was more of a stop hunting....
