The Euro or Oil is not over valued lol. We have some luck that the market pushed the euro down instead off major sell off the dollar.
lucky for those that drive cars and also for those that visit Europe. For traders, it doesn't make a bit of difference.

The amount at which any instrument moves in a given time is very relevant.
Historically these moves portend changes in monetary direction.
That there is short term manipulation by the central banks as shown by James Turk in a previous post is not in doubt for me. No charts or fundamentals can explain the present sell offs in everything.

There is only one reasonable explanation left. James Turk supplied the proof. Intervention only works short term.

The system FACTUALLY is on the verge of meltdown. Please let us not debate it since opposite positions are clear here. I just wanted to share it with you and others.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for Gold to not GO Over $1000 at some point in time. The Law of Economics and the Laws of Nature make it a given !!!

I cannot say when but my guess is before the end of 2009.

Personally I think the market is going flat for awhile and would stay away.

My guess is it's still heading down, just a guess because news is all about the strong dollar.

What about when gold went up to $850 and dropped to $250? What was reason for that, and why won't gold drip to $450?

The BASIC LAW of ECONOMICS is what goes up must come down. Oil rose way too fast for that to be consistent growth. Oil was $40 not too long ago, you are telling me, that now it cost 4X as much drive my car, because why? You tell me I want go Switzerland now, I get only 1 Franc, when 20 years ago, I could get 4? I don't want know why, but I will stop buying Francs. Nothing goes up forever, basic law of economics.

I hope this James guy... whom my hedge fund buddies have never heard of... is putting his money where is mouth is. He should be REALLY Short the dollar here. Which is great because as the dollar continues to recover maybe we can stop hearing about him.

And where is the proof of such intervention? It is purely speculation. All I can see is US data have been, if not good, better than expected, because the expectations have been set low, while Europe data been dismal. That's one of the reasons that caused the dollar rally.

We are trading in the most liquid market on the planet with a daily turnover in the trillions.

Bank traders aren't sitting on their hands anxiously waiting for a great entry.

This isn't equities where a large player has the ability to move the market.
